I had a tooth that was sensitive for a few days and then it began to ache a little. I decided to purchase this item based on some suggestions I had done on clove oil. It arrived the very next day which I'm so thankful for! It came with the oil, some tweezers and a little box of mini cotton balls. I brushed my teeth first. Then I used a Q-tip to apply the oil instead of the cotton balls to the affected area as suggested by the comments I read and I will admit, it's spicy then it's numbing. I held the Q-tip with the oil onto the affected area for one minute like the directions said. The spiciness and numbness went away within minutes. It really wasn't bad at all. My tooth feels fine now, thankfully. I am planning on going to the dentist though to see what the root cause is because I don't want to go through anything worse. The bottle with the oil is small but the product works! I'm glad I bought it and I intend to buy more just to have for myself and give to my adult children. Hopefully they'll never need to use it. Toothaches are no joke!

Out of all the tooth paint killers. This one seriously works the best. Tastes horrible and burns in your mouth from the strong clove extract but the pain was gone in seconds and literally didn’t come back for a few days. The alternative pain relief gels only last maybe 30 mins to an hr.

I have used this in the past so I knew what I was getting; relief! It comes with a little box of cotton balls. They're so tiny and adorable but exactly the right size for placement. Also tweezers that do the job.It tastes very strong, and is a bit "spicy" but gives relief almost immediately. Swceral years ago, I broke a wisdom tooth in half and it was going to be several days until I could see the dentist. This time, I was having general pain in the molar region and would find out it was an allergic reaction. Two vastly different causes but the outcomes were the same; relief!I now carry this tiny little miracle worker in my bag and will never be stuck waiting on delivery ever again! Seriously, buy this.

Got a toothache? You need this. Had oral surgery? You need this. I've used this for toothaches since I was 16. I'm 63 now and still using it when needed. I keep a bottle in my medicine chest at ALL times (and one in my doomsday bag). The clove oil works like a charm, numbing the area, and helping reduce any inflammation. Having had oral surgery myself a week ago, I needed this tincture as my wound got infected. I doused the area with this every few hours until I could get back to the surgeon and get antibiotics. If not for this I couldn't have stood the pain and pressure that was happening in my gum.The oil itself is clove. So,If you can't stand the smell or taste of cloves you're going to hate this. It does tend to have a burning sensation when you apply it, but that goes away in a few minutes. If you're chicken you'll hate this. It also makes you salivate so be prepared to spit that out. Salivating lasts seconds. Just stick with it. Grin and bear it. This will help. It's NOT a cure all and won't make a bad tooth better, but it is relief through numbing the area, until you can see a dentist.It comes with tiny cotton balls and tweezers. The tweezers are useless in my opinion (the ones in my new pack were all bent out of shape). Personally I don't use the cotton balls, I dip a q-tip in the bottle and then swipe the gum with the q-tip. Much easier and faster than faffing about with the tiny swabs and tweezers. I guess if you had to fill a cavity hole the cotton balls would be useful.Try it. Keep it on hand. It's relief in a tiny bottle.

A few months ago I had to wait days before I was able to get an infected tooth extracted. I am on blood thinners and needed to get the ok from my primary doctor first. As anyone with tooth pain knows, it is some of the worst, most agonizing pain to deal with, so these added days were complete torture. I was desperate for some relief and after some internet digging I came across this product. First off, if I were basing the rating on taste, this would get negative stars, but basing it on pain relief it most definitely gets 5. The relief is temporary but it worked better than normal numbing products. It helped me bridge the gap between the day of my x-ray to the day of the tooth extraction.

Amazing!Definitely a lifesaver, this works better than the gels sold at my local drugstore, which don’t appear to contain this product’s ingredient.Very strong flavor, but that’s ok because it works for hours!The little cotton balls are a life saver too for protecting a broken tooth with exposed nerve!

Best thing for toothache ever! Beats Hurricaine and Orajel! Just be careful to only use it on the tooth that hurts and not get any on the surrounding gum tissue, as it can be very irritating.
