This gizmo is very nice, and it will convert USB-C ports to be able to be used for USB-A chargings, but if you have a 2022 Tesla, the ports in the center console are solely for charging and won’t play any music you have on USB-As or USB-Cs! Not the Klutchtech seller’s fault. Frankly, having a vehicle with four charge-only USB-C ports is a bit like gifting a comb to a bald person. (The only USB-A port in the vehicle—and it does connect to the sound system—is in the glovebox. Try to change one out while driving—actually, don’t do it—very hard to find from the driver’s seat and very distracting. Pull over!)

The whole point of this was so that I could have extra USBA ports . But they stopped working, so I just wasted money for no reason.

Oringinal test, usbc to usbc port doesn't work with my game controller ( it works if I plug directly to my Tesla usbc port ). However, when I was able to borrow my cousin usb to usbc cable, game controller work just fine and charge the device. I just need to get cheaper cable usb-usbc cable.

This is perfect for what I needed. It basically turns the 2 usbc ports in your center console to multiple usb-c and usb-a. The included usbc lightning cable is perfect for iPhone users. Did not get to try the "data" transfer because 2022 model teslas removed this feature and made those 2 usbc plugs in the center console strictly just for charging and no data. If you need data transfers, this isn't the product for you and would need a hub that goes in your glove box.
