Sigma EVF-11 Electronic Viewfinder

I had an EVF-11 that I used both on my Sigma fp and then after upgrading, my Sigma fpL. The EVF-11 has an excellent tilting viewfinder that is bright and easy to see through. But the unit has a couple of issues that resulted in my selling it. Mounting it is a bit of a process that requires you to remove one rubber cover and place it in a holder on the EVF-11 and then bend another cover over while mounting the EVF-11 and I was concerned what the long term effect of bending & removing the rubber covers on my fpL. But the major thing is that you have to manually switch between the EVF-11 and the fpL's LCD by moving a sliding switch on the EVF-11. Don't know how many times I turned on my fpL and thought it was dead because the EVF was on instead of the LCD. That drove me nuts, so I sold the EVF-11.

There's nothing wrong with this product per say. It works as advertised. If you mind the display screen, than you might want this. But, if you want to use other items with your camera, avoid this. The Sigma FP has 3 ports, and the EVF takes over 2 of them.
