It’s the absolute best hitch on the market. The fact they made one to work with the multi pro tailgate makes it even better. If you spent the money on a truck that this works on, don’t cheap out on the hitch.

Love how this hitch is machined from solid stock and not welded together. I’m not a huge fan of any available receiver lock or anti rattle devices on the market. I chose to bolt mine on and tapped the back of the receiver for a 7/16 bolt. Locks are easily broken and this method takes to long to remove for a thief. The rear bolt really draws the bar down and keeps everything snug plus adds extra theft prevention.

Rattles when towing. Rust's very easy in Michigan. Pins require a hammer and punch to remove after one winter.

Really nice and stout looking hitch, but it does hang down a little further than I anticipated.

Does NOT work with MultiPro without hitting the tailgate as advertised. Even on the lowest drop hitch setting it hits the tailgate. Did damage to my tailgate. See the photo. Not sure why they show this as compatible for my truck.

This really has a lot of ingenuity in it's design. It is different than the one for my 2500 with the drop down tail gate. On that one I could park the ball low. On this 1500, I needed to park the ball sideways on the bottom setting, but did not need to fold it under. The fellow who posted the pic of interference should learn how to use his hitch. It takes 20 seconds to drop out of the way. Maybe he just wanted something to complain about. When hooked to a trailer don't drop the tailgate insert. When unhitched and you want to drop the insert.... set the hitch appropriately.... no brainer

Though definitely on the expensive side, it has a nice flush mount to the underside of the bumper of my Sierra 1500 and with the balls in the stowed position does not interfere with lowering the multipro tailgate.
