Well made and fun to play with.
The quality of this little speaker is surprising. The default music on the device sounds really amazing and was probably optimized for that effect. It was easy for me to reprogram the audio file with my own. I bought three of these to play with. I reconnected the speaker output to an eight ohm bookshelf speaker in cabinet. This little guy was able to drive this speaker and make things much louder for my application. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Could not be happier
First review Iโve ever left, I think, but I had to. This is a fantastic product at a reasonable price. I keep coming back and buying more and more. I might be on number 8 now. It works flawlessly, the instructions are clear, and it comes with the cord to connect to the computer or recharge if need be. I could not be happier, and I will continue buying this sellerโs version of this product.

The Coolest Little Speaker!!
I am seriously so impressed with this tiny little circuit and speaker! I bought this for my son's costume. He went as Speaker Man from Skibidi Toilet (I know...I was at a loss for words too...).I actually found Speaker Man's costume here on Amazon. My son wanted it to blast Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears. Since I have not had a boombox since the '90s, I had to figure something else out ๐I searched up mini speakers to play music and this is one of the ones that popped up. Of course I read the reviews, just like you are now. Many people complained about it being difficult. It was not!! The hardest part was buying the song and clipping it down to around 3 minutes to be able to upload onto this circuit. I will explain that part down below. After I had the song cut down to 3 minutes, I uploaded it and bam!!! The song played on the circuit and speaker. I bought the one with a button because I wanted my son to be able to turn it off and on with a button since he was wearing it at school. It was incredibly loud! My son, who is 9, easily spotted the switch for volume. We turned it down and it was perfect.Okay...for the tech stuff. By the way, I would not consider myself a techie of any sort. I get tech stuff, sometimes, and it works, sometimes ๐ I am an inventor and author, so the tech stuff is just to get me by.I bought the song off of iTunes because it was the easiest. You do have to have an Apple account. I have an iPad that I rarely use, so I created an account years ago. I used my PC to buy the song in iTunes. Then, I clicked the 3 dots to the right of the song and it showed details.Click on Album Info. Click Options. Go to STOP and put in the time that you want the song to end. I used 3 minutes because that was the most amount of time of that song to put onto the circuit. Click OK. Download your song. When you get to your D drive, delete the song that is already downloaded. Upload your new song and it should be super quick.Good luck!

This Product Sucks. DO NOT BUY!
This Product Sucks. DO NOT BUY! I was very excited when this sound module arrived. It was the rechargeable version. It looked exactly like the one on the site (it had no paper instructions, which would be awesome, but I didn't need them). I plugged it in to my computer, and the drive did appear. I deleted the existing 3 test mp3 files (not CONFIG.txt) and added my own mp3 file to the drive. I ejected the module and unplugged it. Before, I tried it on my Mac, and it played the test songs out of nowhere even though the switch was ON. I instead had to use a friend's Mac. I recently noticed the picture on the product page, and noticed that the picture of the Mac for showing compatibly wasn't even a Mac (it had no โ key, but a ctrl key instead)! When unplugged, the sound module played the first test song (that came with the module and I deleted), without pressing the button. When I press the button, it plays the files as if I never even deleted the test songs! I checked the module again on the computer and the files were how I wanted them to be. I charged the module to try again, and it still sucked. Then I decided to buy another, thinking it would work this time, but it didn't. I still tried the things to fix it from the first one. Worst of all, I was going to give this as a gift, and I had no time to try again. I spent around $50 in the two modules and materials for the gift total, and I was very frustrated. I suppose this module worked for some people, but not me.

A great sound!
It produces a great sound! Small enough for my project. If you want to have a Lipo battery (not supplied) charge through the board, you must solder new leads on the 3.7v terminals. And be very careful of the volume control, it is very tiny!

This is perfect for my project
The media could not be loaded. I am a geek so figuring how to use this was no problem.I LOVE that it is rechargeable.I used this for my project and I was amazed had how many sound files I could store on it.I left it loud and the design I had for my base, this speaker will be behind some felt so I wanted it somewhat louder. And this fit the bill!I was making A Christmas Story House Snow Globe and I wanted to add sound clips from the movie so I did allot of sound editing from the movie.I uploaded them onto the sound board, and then I measured the dimensions and created a base (Red base) for my snow globe to mount this into.I made the base with my 3D printer, and there are some modifications that I needed to tweak a bit on my model, but this sound board fit in perfectly and I have access to the charging port.Thin, good sound, rechargeable and lots of storage for what I needed.I had to solder and add more length to the speaker wires because they are just an few inches too short. I wish they were longer. So, these pictures show my first print, a rough test. I was off a little on the charging port which I will fix. But this sound board is amazing and I bought it again and I will buy more. After I make some changes the 2nd one will come out better.
