Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse - Nintendo Switch

I have a really bizarre history with this game, it all started back in 07' when i was a teenager and got my very own computer, i installed this little program called 'Steam' that was all the rage with my friends, i didn't grow up particularly wealthy so i was left playing an abundance of demos, one of these demos would be 'Stubbs the Zombie', i grew extremely fond of it for whatever reason and replayed it almost daily - and where most people would forget they ever played this, Stubbs kept creeping into my brain, sparking fond memories of Stubbs p*ssing into the water treatment plant, not knowing if this was a strange fever dream i once had or if it was a real experience.Then years later this glorious re-release hit me in the face during a Nintendo Direct, and my suspicions were finally confirmed - this was a real game, and many moons later i'm holding my physical copy, i'm excited, content that this brief moment of history of my life is about to be relived. I start playing the game, i'm having a good time ripping peoples limbs off and chewing on their brains, and creating small zombie armies, "what an odd game" i'm thinking to myself, but i'm having a great ol' time.Then a wall hit me - the three last levels are some of the most grueling torture i've ever experienced from a game in recent memory, this game for all it's flaws is still quite an immature but wild ride worth taking, but the bugs and general issues really show themselves in those three last levels, it could also be that i just suck at this game, but the major shift in difficulty really forced me to rethink my strategies - which mostly just came down to abusing glitches and bugs - until i finally beat this game, finally putting this dragon chase of my life to an end.What a great, terrible TERRIBLE game.I absolutely recommend this to everyone who grew up during the same era of gaming as me, or generally anyone curious about what this game is, this is without a doubt for me the king of all western made B-games.In reality this is a 5 out of 10 game, but in my heart it is 10/10.

Stubbs the zombie is such a funny game. Just remember this was made for the OG XBOX with the HALO engine (selling point 😂) it’s funny, crazy. Can be hard if you don’t save often. But is a great game.

Bought it for my husband, he's been loving it. Can recommend for zombie fans looking for something a bit different.

This should be a good game but...The mechanics of the game are fun... it's built on the HALO engine afterall.I couldn't help but feel that the developers way back then could have taken it in a completely better direction.The story line is ok-ish, game mechanics good, music is sparse sometimes, friendly zombies is good, character abilities are cool, multiple levels.Given an only ok story line...This would have been a better had it been a freeroaming game where you can go in all the buildings and just kill all the humans in creative ways with the environment... it would have been nice to be able to take the city monorail and steal cars, driving around city etc, start fires.... there's a whole city and it barely gets used to its full potential.

I found this game quite boring and glitchy, the quality of the software is like something from an older game but you get what you pay for.

Good game for a short while

You can feel the old Halo game engine style to it. It's an OLD game without much enhancement but probably maxed out quality settings from the past keep the game looking more than good enough. It's smooth and unlike the old game you can play TWO PLAYER simultaneous! It feels like background music is missing from most the game and I don't remember it being so quiet...

J'avais fait ce jeu a l'époque de la x.box première génération, il était génial pour l'époque. Stubbs n'a pas changé sur switch, toujours aussi dingue, décaler et tellement jouissif. Certes les jeunes joueurs diront que c'est laid et daté mais l'essentiel n'est pas dans les graphismes, mais dans le délire d'incarner un zombie et d'élever une armée en bouffant du cerveau 😂 le tout en mode portable. Un bon defouloir au même titre que destroy all humans.

il gioco ha la custodia sul retro in multilingue compreso l'italiano, e c'è scritto che il software è compreso di lingua italiana. Quindi provato il gioco ma la lingua italiana non esiste nemmeno dopo averlo aggiornato, rimane totalmente in inglese! Peccato, il gioco è carino, ma l'ho subito reso e Amazon sempre il top! grazie
