## Description

Shaarawi Mastic Chewing Gum - product of Lebanon.

Review: Delicious gum and cheap - My best friend used to bring me Mastic gum back from his yearly trips to Lebanon to visit family. It's somewhat of an acquired taste but I absolutely love it. It tastes somewhere between pine and licorice. This particular brand looses its flavor pretty quickly, but I still chew about six pieces a day and love it.
Review: MAJOR Problem with packaging of Sharawi gum - It’s subjective i like the taste as i can’t stand mint. I don’t have a problem w the product but with the order itself. It appears the manufacturer/seller? Sells the six pack order ($28) 600 pieces, in the same box that contains only 100 pieces. In addition the print on the back says 100 pieces even though it might have 600. I ordered and received 2 boxes a few days ago. They were delivered by 2 different people, same day but different times. By touch/feel i think 1 has 600 and the other 100. Customer service did not understand and just refunded the money. I need to speak to an English speaking, local customer service agent.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is it 100 pieces in a pack x 4?**
A: 4 boxes with 100 pieces in each box. Each piece has two chiclets in the wrapper.

**Q: is it 100 pieces in a pack x 4?**
A: Hi, I'm on my last package so I don't have the box anymore but I'm pretty sure that it's 100 individual packets with 2 pieces in each. So, 100 x 2, not 100 x 4.

**Q: is it 100 pieces in a pack x 4?**
A: Yes. 50 packs of two in each of the 4 boxes.

**Q: 4pack of 100 pouches so there are actually 400? Is that correct ?**
A: No, 100 pouches equels 200 chicklet style chews... Or if you prefer a larger wad of gum, then you can chew two at a time. I prefer smaller chews so I get 200 chews per 100 pouches.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MAJOR Problem with packaging of Sharawi gum

### ⭐ ***If you are looking for Mastic gum for digestive purposes this is not the product for you.***
*by R***O on February 13, 2013*

I read on a Kindle book titled "Why Stomach Acid is Good for You" by Jonathan Wright that -among other things- Mastic gum is beneficial to people who suffer from GERD, acid indigestion and other digestive problems, so I searched on Amazon.com and came across this product which I promptly ordered. However, this is not at all the product that I was looking for: the description indicates that this is Mastic chewing gum but when I received the order, the label in the back of the box containing the gum indicates that it is "Mastic FLAVOURED Gum". It is not the flavor I am after! It would be like buying vitamin C flavored pills. The description for this item on the Amazon site reads: "Shaarawi Mastic Chewing Gum - product of Lebanon" this is misleading. There's a disclaimer telling the customer to read warnings and labels but there's only one picture of the box and it is mostly in Arabic. ***If you are looking for Mastic gum for digestive purposes this is not the product for you.*** Unfortunately by the time I read the box I had already opened a couple of packets, too late to return!
