Good, solid rack that gets the job done for a reasonable price!
This is a solid rack for a beginner to intermediate lifter. It's great for low ceilings. I've been lifting for about 3 years and got sick of wait times for the few racks at the gym. This gets the job done. I use it for squatting and for chest press and it is solid with no wobbles. If you put a couple 45 pound plates on the storage poles at the back of the rack, it's even more stable (if you want to do dead hangs or do banded rows). I don't have it nailed into the floor or anything and it is very usable that way. The safety bars are easy to maneuver and the j hooks are solid as well. I'm not a super heavy lifter and haven't pushed the safety bars past 225 lbs (I'm in my 50s, so just wanted the safety), but this more than suffices for the weight I'm lifting. The welds are also seem very solid. I've only had this for a couple months, but I've really enjoyed using it. My only quibble is that the holes for the j hooks and the safety bars aren't numbered, but I added some magnets to mark the holes and bingo! It was easy to put together and it was easy to find instructions online (I downloaded them ahead of delivery). It was packed well and all the parts arrived. I did need my husbands help while building (it's definitely a two person job), but it took maybe an hour and a half or so. I highly recommend it!

Perfect low ceiling cage! Perfect for short weight lifters too!
I have a fully furnished basement with a low ceiling of 81.25" which severely limits what type of equipment I can have. What attracted me to the Titan Power Rack Short was not only height, but it's price point and simplicity. The dimensions listed are accurate and that was vital for me since I am 5'4" tall (PERFECT!). The hole spacings of 1.25" from bottom hole edge to the next top hole edge works perfect for the spacing options I need to reset the safety bars (which are really solid and heavy) and jay hooks (which are bare metal and I plan on placing thick rubber tubing around the hooks). The storage weight plate stands in the back are approximately 1.25" in diameter, 7.5" tall and can accommodate olympic plates but NOT standard 1" diameter plates. The pull up bar in the front has two sets of knurling (wide cut pattern grips) grooves that aren't harsh, not light, but I wouldn't rate them as medium. Without placing any plates in the storage peg, and at 146lbs, I can do pull-ups safely although the cage will wiggle a little BUT only because the cage is resting on thick carpet and not a gym mat. The instructions for assembly are straight forward. They recommend assembly as a two person effort, however I was able to assemble it myself in under 45minutes. You start by assembly the bottom portion which is so stable that you can safely install each vertical pole individually because the thickness used for the footing is very stable and strong. The bolts are very high quality, heavy, with thick internal plastic locking rings on the tops of the nuts - screwing them on is a chore but that's what you want on this cage. (By the way the four square neck/rounded head bolts go on the bottom.) The four plastic footing ends that go on the bottom are fairly decent quality plastic and may require a rubber mallet to get them fully onto the bottom metal tubing edges. Although you order this through Amazon, Titan Fitness does a really great job of shipping the same day you order as long as you can order within the window they set (go to their website at the time ordering to figure out the window time frame). My cage shipped Fedex and unfortunately they banged up handling it and two of the "T" ends of one vertical tube and the rear top tube were slightly bent. Titan Fitness did an excellent job of packaging, Fedex did a terrible job of handling the package. I've attached two photos in this review. Unfortunately I couldn't get a forward-head on photo because of the spacing limits I have in my basement, but the photos are clear enough to give you an idea of how it works for me. You'll also see in the photo a 6' 31mm standard 1" diameter barbell bar mounted on the frame. That bar featured has an internal 52" spacing between the plate sleeves which makes it a little tight, but my standard Rogue Ohio olympic bar works fine. I've been using this cage now for a week and love it! It's very stable despite resting on thick carpet. It works fine for my short height. The overall quality, price point and durability of this cage is excellent!

Good power rack with no issues
Great rack for a home gym, very stable and arrived with no issues. Assembly is easy with two persons (can be done with just one) but instructions needs to be downloaded from Titan’s website.

Solid build, will satisfy most home gyms!
The rack is solid and is perfect for most home gyms regardless of whether it's 1/2 the price of a Rogue rack or not. I got the "Short" rack since I have a tight one car garage with low ceilings. I could have gotten the standard version of the rack but that would have raised the top of the rack right up against the ceiling which would limit my pullups. The short version is not without it's challenges, the pull up bar at 5'-8 1/2" is difficult to use, it forces most users to bend their knees almost to a 90 degree angle, myself included at 5'-8" tall. I'm doing more of a pseudo-incline pull up using the bench to rest my foot on, which is just fine for me since I am 55 years old and can't do many standard pull ups anymore anyhow. I also got the Multi-Grip Pull Up Bar arriving soon, which raises the top of the pull up bar to about 75" (6'-3") and will give me some added options. I have the dip-bar attachment and since the short rack attaches the pull up bar directly on the vertical columns, I knocked my nogin on the pull up bar on my first bar dip! I ended up reattaching the pull up bar to the upper horizontal part of the rack which is where you attach the pull up bar on the standard rack (I have a short rack), problem solved. The safety bars are nice since I work out with my 13 year old son who is not as strong as the solid steel safety bars when it comes to spotting! I have not tried squatting inside the rack yet, but I'd imagine the back upper horizontal frame would hit my head as well so I'll probably get some 12" Valor spotter arms and use them to rack the bar effectively moving the bar further inside the rack and away from the frame (FWIW, the Titan spotter arms are 20" and would be too long for this application). All in all, very satisfy with the Titan short rack, my home gym is now complete!

Great Rack For The Price
This is a great rack for the price. It has everything you need for full body exercises. I only wish it comes with more weight plate holders.
