Fresh out of the box and on the head, squeeze the paws and nothing. The air escaped the little balloon thing with barely lifting an ear and they stayed flat. It takes a couple of hours for the plastic to re-form it's non squished state and when we tried again the air was heard squeezing out at the paws so it's defective. This is the second hat I purchased, having given my first one to my friend's daughter. The third one I bought from a different place works great. I didn't send it back because it's a pain in the butt to do returns. Eventually I may take apart the paws and see if I can glue a seal around the air bladder so it works.

I feel like this looks more like a dog than a lion (we REALLY wanted a lion hat), but I couldn’t resist the fact that the ears moved. So we bought this for my 2 year old nephew for his birthday and he and his family got a kick out of it. The ear pumps worked just fine when he opened it, but they are made of cheap plastic so I’m not sure how long they’ll work. Still, we couldn’t beat this price and the movement is adorable. I’d recommend this for any little kid or toddler who likes animal hats :)

My 8 year old had to have this Tiger Hat plush with the wiggly ears. I sent the first one back because the ears would go up, but the left one wouldn't stay up due to a slow air leak in the paw. Amazon was quick to replace and it was returned to Kolh's (using the Amazon return through Kohl's). The second one that arrived had the same issue so I told my child that's the way it is and we are not exchanging it for a new one. Other than that it is very good quality, but a little pricey compared to some of the other brands. We had to have the tiger because it is his school's mascot. He enjoyed wearing it for "Crazy Hair & Hat Day" at school.

One of the ear lines came with a leak in it. Otherwise, It’s as described and I would have loved it.

No batteries required. Works fine for now and can fit a 7 year old head just right. Bought unicorn and it seems good quality!
