This is not a rope
Is was a rope, now it is a line on my sailboat. It does rope things when I pull on it but it is a line. Get one and you will pick up the line and do rope things too.

Low stretch; tricky to eye splice
Very low stretch, strong line. Easy to handle. However, eye splice information is sketchy. Be prepared to make several "practice" splices until you get the technique mastered! Not the same as double braid yacht line. Used for the main halyard on a 30' sailboat.

A fuzzy line?! What in the world!
I’ve been sailing 5 years and never have I seen a line get as fuzzy as this after very little handling. Even the old line isn’t fuzzy. I’m not returning because a hurricane brought epic wind. I will certainly never buy from this store. I’ve used New England ropes and never had this issue. It leads me to question a few things.... never again

New Halyard lines!
A strong rope to replace my halyards. Quite a learning curve to splicing Sta-set X, mind... and not a lot of online references for it. Once we gave up on the splicing kit, and just used stainless steel safety wire, things progressed nicely!

nice rope. soso service
i like the rope. using it for jib sheets on 35' boat. strong, low stretch and light. the seller, however didn't bother to burn one of the ends after cutting. which i didn't notice until it was already frayed
