But if you are looking at it for educational purposes only, I would look at something else. Pictures are great, big, and a lot to color, but nothing out of the ordinary. Review: I have a 3 yr old daughter with some special needs/learning disabilities and I absolutely LOVE the preschool prep videos & books. These coloring books go very nicely with their videos and books. I like to use them now that she has learned her colors, shapes, and numbers (almost). They are a great way to reinforce what she's already learned and it's just fun for her because she loves the videos and books so much. One thing I will say though, is that these coloring books are very thin. There is only 1 or 2 pages devoted to each shape, color, and number so the books are very thin. I wish they had made a bigger (more pages) book. It would be nice to have more than one or two pages for each color/shape.

We have the videos and flash cards in this brand and love them. The coloring books are themed the same as the videos, but are overall pretty expensive for being basic coloring books.

I love the Preschool Prep series and this just adds to my happiness! My preschoolers love to color while they watch their favorite DVDs... and long after the show has ended - their "works of art" get to hang around on the fridge to remind them of all the great things they are learning. I would recommend buying a set for each child....no arguing over who gets their favorite colors or letters.

I gave this set of coloring books to my 2 years old daughter for Christmas. She enjoyed watching the Preschool Prep dvds and now she is looking at the books, page-by-page, since Christmas Day and she amazed me and my wife. She would even say the letters, numbers and words that she knows. I made a perfect investment for my daughter's Christmas for 2009. :D
