Mayday Games 7 Wonders Sleeves (65x100mm)-80 Premium

Used on my 7 Wonders board game cards. Need two packs for the base game. They fit on the cards nice, but cards barely fit into their slots once sleeved. You have to push them in a bit, and the holes for the cards are slightly shorter on the bottom so they bend the corners of the sleeves a bit. It works overall, but I'll be purchasing broken tokens box organizer for the 7 Wonders game so the sleeved cards fit nicer.

Perfect sizing and consistency, as sometimes there are small variations even within sleeve packs that can affect the fit and shuffling of the sleeved cards. These are called "7 Wonders" but fit quite a few other games as well, in fact, I originally bought them to use on a beautifully illustrated deck of cards. The only downside to these sturdy, consistent sleeves would be how much bulk they add to the stacks of cards they protect, but there's no getting around that. Thinner penny sleeves are harder to find in specialized sizes, and in any case, I would prefer some awkwardness to the possibilities of a few of my rarer gaming decks getting damaged through use.

If you have 7 Wonders and are considering getting sleeves for the cards, just do it...trust me. It'll save you a load of heart ache when you start playing it very often and realise how the thin (albeit beautifully designed) cards start to gather nicks on the sides and such. You will need 2 packs for the original game but I bought three because I intend to buy the Leaders expansion soon. In my research before purchasing, I gather that there was a very bad batch of these sleeves. I was very wary but purchased anyway from the Hobby Hut seller on Amazon. I made sure to email them first about my concerns and they put me at ease. I got them and sleeved up my whole game last night and they all fit like a glove. Not one bad sleeve in all 2 packs (and I don't forsee any in the 3rd :D) Get them, it'll be more than worth it!

I had just bought the new edition of the board game 7 wonders, and these sleeves were a great addition to protect the cards. The decks occupy a bit more volume with the sleeves, but no big deal. After about +30 times playing the game, the sleeves felt a bit harder to shuffle, but I cleaned them with some paper towel and a bit of rubbing alcohol (no need to remove the cards just be careful) and the sleeves are perfect again.

They fit my 7 Wonders cards just as expected. Very snug fit, but none of the sleeves tore while inserting them. I have both Cities and Leaders, and 3 packs was the exact number needed (1 short, so the "make your own leader" card didn't get one, but the two 2-player cards did). Strangely, one pack had 79 sleeves, but the third had 81, so we ended up with the correct number. As others mention, the sleeves add significant thickness. We used to be able to fit the base game, both expansions, and the extra wonder board expansion all in the original box and the Cities box. Now, we have to use the Leaders box as well, but it all still fits. We may make a custom insert in the original game box, as there really is plenty of room. Not sure about longevity yet, but if they start tearing with use, I'll update the review.

Perfectly matching size for the need

Bought these as they were the most suitable sleeves for the 7 Wonders card game, as far as I understand it they're suitable for the expansions (not sure about 7 Wonders: Babel). Base game requires 2 packs, using less than the 160 sleeves you'll receive (80 sleeves per pack), expansions will require you to but at least another 3 packs (if you buy them all). Described as premium sleeves, they're of a decent quality and definitely are a good fit for the cards. It's a bit irritating that you receive only 80 sleeves, where similar types of products would provide 100, but then it's better than 50! So cost vs quality/ quantity balance out, I feel satisfied with thier purchase. If you can get these cheaper go for it, otherwise these are the best bet for you, to be fair they're some of the better sleeves on the market.

Molte bustine sono risultate difettose. Sono aperte di lato come se fossero state tagliate male. La cosa assurda è che non mi è permesso sostituirle o farne il reso per no so quale motivo. Questa volta amazon mi ha un po deluso devo dire.

Ich benutze diese Schutzhüllen seit Jahren für 7 Wonders. Sie passen perfekt auf die Karten und halten auch bei häufiger Benutzung sehr lange. Man sollte allerdings immer ein paar extra in der Schachtel haben, da doch schon öfter mal eine Hülle den Geist aufgibt. Der Nutzen der Hüllen ist dabei gerade bei einem Spiel wie 7 Wonders meiner Ansicht nach extrem hoch. Da je nach Spieleranzahl immer genau die selben Karten ungenutzt bleiben, wäre nach einiger Zeit die Abnutzung der Karten deutlich verschieden, was mich persönlich ziemlich stören würde. Mit den Hüllen passiert das nicht, daher erfüllen sie für mich exakt ihren Zweck. Man muss sich mit den Hüllen etwas daran gewöhnen, dass die Karten ein bisschen dazu tendieren zusammen zu "kleben".

I put in quite a bit of research before purchasing these sleeves and I have to same I am thoroughly impressed! These sleeves fit my 7 Wonders cards perfectly and still allow you to shuffle and deal the cards normally. They do make the cards a bit slippery, as expected, but the sleeves do not bother me as I expected they would. They don't add bulk and definitely look good. Happy that I made the purchase to protect my investment. I have only played a few games since adding sleeves to my cards so I cannot comment on the durability of the sleeves over the long term, but based on a few plays, I would highly recommend these!
