Well built welder but no instructions...
It's been many, many years since I've welded, but I've been wanting a welder just to have for those rare jobs. And maybe I'll get back into it. First impressions, it's a great looking welder and made quite well for a lower cost unit. Good finish and quality, heavy duty materials. Comes with everything you need to get to welding, well sort of. It comes with a roll of wire, you can wire weld out of the box, but you'll have to get some rods to use the other welding options. Once we figured it out, it welded right away. Not going to show pictures of myu welds, because, as I said, it's been many years. Right now, they are not so preddy.Had my son check it out with me, so he could compare to his HF low cost welder. He did say this machine is better in a couple ways, a display was the big thing. He said it is just build better all around. Well, it should be, it costs a little more. Works just fine though.Biggest complaint, it comes with NO instructions! argh. Granted, it's not impossible to figure out, but come on, show you care about your customers, by explaining how to use the product they gave you money for. It is a welder, there is a little bit to using it. Like, can you adjust the wire feed rate? How? How do you use it with gas? How do you use the TIG features? So many unanswered questions. It is a good welder, as much as I can say so far. If it had proper instructions, written by english speaking people, it could be a 5-star product. Right now, it really lacks.Up to you if you want to figure it out yourself.

It's not bad for how cheep
For being this cheep it'll do for the weekend worrier or the homegamer. It almost keeps up with my hf 200 welder. But I prefer the hf. This is a metric unit so the wire wheels are stamped metric. Also the setting on the front are for metric wire. But the plugs are american. The wire moter sometimes would just give out so you would have help it along some times. Decent gun comes with it, it ain't no miller or lincoln but it'll do, the trigger seems to work only in some positions, but that ain't no big deal once you get the hang of it. Does Flux core decent and Mig pretty well. Haven't messed with the tig function much, have a better one so didn't wanna mess. But overall. Ya get what ya pay for, if your Goin for nice and longevity, get a lincoln miller or ESAB. But thistle do for the weekender, I ment to say thistle.

Piece of junk
No instructions on how to use or set temps. Trigger on the handle went bad after a month. Won’t properly feed wire through so it keeps breaking wire in the spool. Wasted tons of wire re feeding it. The gas fitting on it leaks like crazy and I didn’t know it until I went through an entire bottle of gas in a few uses. Don’t wast you money on this Chinese crap.

Good welder for the money
So far I have only used the fluxed core wire selection to weld with. It does a good job and hope it does even better when I use gas, I am disappointed that it does not have a Tig torch with it. But I am sure it would have cost more if it did. Over all, so far, I am pleased with the purchase of this welder

Was a good welder for a few hours
Machine worked great out of the box although once I really needed to put it to work it crapped out probably had less then 5 hours on it. No way to contact anyone for warranty and Amazon washed there hands of it after 30 days. Would be nice to at least see how long the warranty is. But I could have purchased a 4 year warranty. How would warranty work if you can’t contact manufacturer

Not a bad welding machine
Pro, the unit itself was super easy to set up and use,All connections are included except for the 3/4in replacement valve needed. A few bucks at a hardware store fix that.Con:The hose could be a bigger diameter to accommodate the use stander size hose fittingsSpecial 220v plugs required.Over all it’s one of the best purchased welding machines. I’ve used it in my body shop to weld some projects.

Complicated machine no directions and no tech support
No directions no tech support you must synchronize the current your self with the voltage before this mig welder will work then if you go much higher or lower on the settings you will need to start over this very difficult sense the machine reads out in current instead of amps or wire speed. This only made worse by the fact that the welder does not come with any directions. This welder is said to be easy to use for beginners I have been welding for 45 years own several mig machines and I can not use this machine with out any directions. My advice is to buy a different welder. My plan is to send this one back.
