You can install pre or post pump - just make sure fitting to tank has a built in strainer if placing post pump.

Looking to replace the screw-in push-to-connect fittings. are they 1/8 npt?

I am pretty sure they are 1/4 NPT.

My aem pump is rated at 300psi and this specifically states 150psi max. What’s the deal? Is there a 300psi compatible option?

What's your pump part number? This is because the pumps by AEM are rated at 10Amps @200PSI.
