Queen Size Supreme Slider Free Motion Machine Quilting Mat: Improved Trimable Free-Motion Slider with Pink Tacky Back and Bigger Size (11.5 Inch X 17 Inch)

I have been using a homemade one (from a wallyworld oven protector) and that helped my quilting so much that I asked Santa for one of the "real" ones for Christmas. Just tried it out and it is WONDERFUL. I think it will be well worth the cost. The only problem is that it is too small still; or maybe I just need to re-cut the hole and place it differently on the machine. LOVE the slipperiness and the pink sticky side, which really works! My oven protector one "wore out" ie the hole got increasingly larger as I used it, probably because I leave my feed dogs up with a zero length stitch, a la Leah Day (I think her reason makes a lot of sense). I will report further if this seems to wreck up the hole on this one; the instructions clearly state to put the feed dogs down.

This is what sewing machine tables should be made of. It works great, but I would have liked to know that you can get one custom made. Good slider, has good stick to my table and is a nice size. Would like an even bigger size. There is no smell to this product as I have found with others. Easy to use.

If you free motion quilt on your home machine, you should really consider this product. It makes all the difference in the world! It makes the quilt just glide, and you don't have to fight and pull to move the quilt around. I have a HV designer Ruby with the large extension table. It's the perfect size. Team it up with machingers gloves, and make that quilt behave! Worth ever penny. Durable, the container makes a nice storage case, so don't throw it out. I like the roller tube it came on for rolling it back up when not in use and putting it back in it's tube. Fantastic product!!!

I just took my slider out of the package 3 days ago to do some free motion quilting and this is what I ran into. As I slipped it into the bed of my machine it adhered at an angle, therefore it had to be lifted and reposition and as I lifted the mat my machine needle tore through it. I was so upset since I didn't even get to use the mat yet and now I have a rip in it. As u know the large mat that I bought is not cheap. The mat works great, material slides very nicely while sewing. I just wished they instructed you to remove the needle from your machine before putting your mat in place. I hope to save all of you who are thinking about buying one the mistake I made. Don't hesitate about buying one, but be very careful putting the mat into position. I contacted the company and they are going to replace my slider. In fairness to the company the owner asked me if I removed my foot on the machine during installation. I do remember doing so since there wasn't much room to work and in doing so I exposed the needle. If I left the foot on, the pressure foot would have protected the needle from damaging the slider. You must leave the pressure foot on or take pressure foot and needle off before placing the slider on bed of machine. Would not hesitate to purchase from this company. Great customer service.

This enables my quilting to be smoother, and the fabric glides over the suface as I guide the fabric under the needle of my machine. Be sure to fasten down the slider to your suface with some blue painters tape as then there will be no shifting of the slider under the needle. My first slider I didn't secure it down and ended up sewing it to the bottom of my project in an oopsy! I still used it for a long time, but when it was time to replace it, I oped to get a larger one as the Queen.

I'm a beginner at free motion. This is making it so much easier to keep my jerky novice movement to a minimum!So far sticks great even with my uneven pushing and pulling pressure.Easy to readjust by rolling up in front and back then gently lift the sides to align the needle opening. Same when changing bobbin thread, just roll it forward.

I make lap quilts with minky on the back and it doesn't slide as well as a cotton back would. I have a plexiglass extension table and even when polished it doesn't slide as well as I'd like. I bought this slider hoping it would help with the minky. It is a little slicker but doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. I didn't read the instructions first and left my feed dogs up while using a walking foot with the slider in place - not sure why I did that, just wasn't thinking:) It tore the slider and I had to cut away the slider around the feed dogs. Not a big deal, but still made me mad that I did it since I spent so much on this. Being desperate for something to make my quilting a little easier I paid the high price of this slider. It seems to help some, but it's overpriced. Every time I attach it to my machine I'm worried about ripping it. It sticks to the machine table in all the wrong places while trying to attach it and I worry about the foot ripping it.

Ne avevo già uno uguale ma era più piccolo , questo copre buona parte del piano di cucitura e quindi più efficiente…

This product is exactly as advertised. It is used when free motion quilting to make it easier to move your quilt on your machine before. Very easy to apply to bed of machine.

Worth the money as it helps quilt to slide around so much easier, I did stick the sides down with masking tape although I'm sure it wont come unstuck as it does stick very well. A good fit for my Juki NX7 so I didn't have to cut any of it. Comes in the tube as shown in picture on Amazon so you can keep it clean and tidy.

I was dubious about this product at first until I saw it used in a YouTube tutorial (in particular, I wasn't sure how the hole would always line up with the machine needle). Then I decided to give it a go - I'm glad that I did! It's very straightward to set up, and makes free-motion swirls and curves so much easier. Even slow, precise work (small bubbles) was possible right from the off, even though I'm a beginner at this. Can recommend the Queen size of this product specifically, too!
