Stays heated
I like this hose. It's lasted me a while, heating element has stayed strong despite negative temps.

Thought this product was going to work out fabulously for our first winter season full time living in our travel trailer, product has leaked since day one, no matter how tight the hose fitting is and the amount of tape used around the threads it won’t stop leaking. Leaking water out of a heated hose in the middle of a winter in montana is not optimal at all. For a product this expensive I would at least expect it not to leak for crying out loud. This has caused so much damage is is unreal. Your clamp on the hose doesn’t adjust to crimp the hose down enough to create a proper seal. Thus causing it to leak profusely in the middle of freezing temperatures causing a ice to form everywhere all over the fitting and all down the line and all over the skirting. I would have been better off with my Walmart generic garden hose and heat wrap, and cost would have been significantly less. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product unless you feel like having to fix the product right off the get go the proper way to work effectively.

Doesn't work.
Froze on the first try....After finally getting the ends to seal up, which was a challenge, I was really excited to see what this thing could handle... Sadly, NOITHING.Did not make it through a night of just 25 degrees... froze right up...DO NOT GET THIS HOSE, WASTE OF MONEY!

Hose froze solid at 0 degrees Fahrenheit in South Dakota
I confirmed that the thermostat was exposed to the cold air, and the hose was plugged into a live outlet. The hose can not handle the claimed -40 degree weather...unless I simply got a defective item.

Fitting was cracked. Never even got to use it

2 year warranty
We haven't had a chance to use the hose as it isn't cold enough yet, but the quality looks good and the customer service has been great - they provide an extended 2 year warranty at no extra cost.
