Great tool, at a great price
You can't go wrong with OEM tools. Have needed one of these for years finally picked one up. Used on 2008 Cobalt fuel pump replacement, work great.

Fuel Pump Removal-Reinstall Tool
This tool is a must for reinstallng a fuel pump / gas guage sending unit to be sure it is locked down in the fuel tank.

Great tool.
Only complaint would be the bolts to use versus using studs with wing nuts. Easy to change but would be better to come that way.

This is supposed to work on my Ram truck, it didn't, I tried several times and finally gave up and used an ait hammer on low.

Unknown until the right auto comes in.
I am pretty sure that this will work many other autos such as GM, Dodge, Ford, etc, but for mainly what I bought it for was to take off a fuel pump lock ring on a 2007 Hyundai Sonata V6. It wouldn't work do it being taller and not working to lock onto the lock ring. I'm pretty sure that I will use it in the future on those kinds of makes, but for now no. As for the price of this, I could say it is worth it, but until I really get a chance to use it on a tank with other types of lock rings.. I couldn't tell ya.

Worked out great
Used this tool to swap out the intank fuel pump on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500. One I got the rust off the old pump mechanism I was able to get the lock ring free with this tool. I highly recommend if you have to do the same job, this tool worked great.
