Not for Everyone...
First let me just say, I'm not knocking this product but it did nothing for me. I have a 2014 Silverado Z71 4x4 with the 5.3 V8. This thing advertises that it runs V4 mode at a higher percentage thus creating increased fuel economy. After driving several times and 2 full tanks of gas, there was no change in fuel economy and the truck did NOT run in V4 any more or less than without the module. So I removed it and ran a fresh tank without it and there was no change as stock, confirming my findings.I think its very important to note that I have a new truck and these things are already tuned to get 17 to 24 mpg. It seems this V4 Plus was made more for older vehicles with the original active fuel management system that was not as efficient. So on an older vehicle I can see this possibly making a difference. On newer models it is a $200 paper weight. I do think its worth a shot because if it actually works, $200 is well worth it.

Garbage
If you do any of your own modifications to your vehicle I highly recommend you do not buy this product. If you replace your battery for example that will reset all your your monitors. And if you are always using range active fuel managment, than your monitors will never come back on untill you drive a while without it in. I went in for an inspection sticker and because of range I had three monitors down and failed my insoection. Range does. Lot more than simply preventing your car from dropping into 4 cylinders. It's garbage. If you want to get rid of dod than go and get it tuned out. You will avoid every headache that range will give you. Also if they have to keep giving you software updates for their products than how good does that tell you it is. It's supposed to just prevent your car from dropping cylinders, yet they are always releasing new software for it. Don't get it. 0 stars if I could

Range V4- V4MAX
This is just a follow up since I received my Range V4- V4MAX unit.Since I started using my Range in my 2011 Chevy 1500 Silverado 4x4 I have driven over 800 miles with the overall average savings of 9%. That is a staggering savings considering that is with a trailer on the back sometimes and also the overall geographic region I reside in is substantially hilly as well. I also have not driven the vehicle any different then when I was driving it prior to installing the Range unit.Overall awesome unit. I have a few other Chevy trucks including an older diesel and Suburban. If your company decides to expand in to the older models (2002-2003) I am all over purchasing them for every larger vehicle I own.Thank you again it is sweet. It is an awesome return on investment[[ASIN:B00BR1R7R0 Range Technology V4 MAX Fuel Economy Device]
