Surprising New Favorite
I got this book on the Kindle sale and did not initially get my hopes up, HOWEVER, this has become such a fun, quirky, and adorable read that is so relatable as a chaotic baker myself. I binged this book quickly, with its laugh out loud moments, lovable characters, and hilariously relatable dialogue. The spice is moderately explicit, but natural and enjoyable. I will definitely be getting more of Alina Jacobs' books in the near future!

Foodie romance
My goodness she eats a lot of food and that's saying much considering I enjoy my fair share but it seems like every other page she is eating her feelings. The story is good with medium amount of spice but the MMC has a real lack of problem solving skills. That was the only thing that annoyed me but overall a good lighthearted read.

Liked but almost couldn’t finish it.
I wanted to love this book and although I did like it, I didn’t love it. The cover photo and the description really got me and ultimately lead to me purchasing the book. However there were many times I almost couldn’t bring myself to finish it.At first I was on board with the grumpy sunshine dynamic. However neither really got better. Beck seemed to be mean for no reason and he became hard to like for me. And he also seemed judgemental and not very open minded. And Tess, at times was also really hard to like. I get being quirky and everybody has there thing that they slack off with or something. And every one also has bad days where everything seemed to go wrong. But for Tess it was almost unnatural in my opinion. Nobody has stains on every piece of clothing they own, no is constantly spilling or dropping things on themselves. Tess seemed to never have anything clean and for a 20 something year old that feels unrealistic. Or something happening with every outfit or not having anything wear became a little annoying. Or also just having something to wrong at all times also felt a bit unnatural. Also for a 20 something year old to get black out drunk on wine while having minors in her care was a no for me. Even teenagers would know better than that. Also the coaster scene..? Mistakes happen but that was something. It felt very adolescent at times. Felt a little like immature teenagers at some points. And that might be for everyone but not for me.With them supposed to be “fake dating” beck was really kind of a bad fake boyfriend. He didn’t really seem supportive of anything that had to do with Tess. People said things or acted a certain way and he just let it happen. Or he also said or did things that didn’t feel supportive and at times he didn’t even try to act like he liked her. Especially at one of the Friday night dinner. And fake boyfriend or not since they were trying to pass off as real he could have been way better. The writing was good and I definitely think I’ll be exploring more books by this author! However there were scenes that just abruptly ended or would end and immediately switch to a new scene without really know we were jumping a head to a new time or place. I didn’t really find that confusing or anything but it was more like “oh okay we’re just stopping right there” or “oh okay so we’re no longer in this scene we’re now in the following morning” and some scenes felt a little like there could have been more detail (but that’s a personal preference)Overall I would say if you like the grumpy sunshine and fake dating you should give the book a try, what personally isn’t for me could be awesome for you!

Hilarious
I was looking for a break in the monotony of romance I have read lately, and hot damn did I find it.Great FMC, love her witty banter and her inability to keep her foot out of her mouth sometimes.Great group of characters100 percent recommended

Truly Hilarious!!
I loved this! I was caught from the beginning. I love these strong chaotic female characters and the head strong Males who want to rule it all. Yet the love of family can bring them to their knees. My only criticism could be, some areas dragged while others were skipped or rushed over. I love it though.

New twist
Not your regular assistant snags the billionaire boss. Tons of twists to this story. Pulled from the headlines... but in a real good way. Great character development!

Missed the mark.
This book had potential, even for being extremely predictable. However that potential wasn't met. Tess was soo unrealistic, Beck was a self centered jerk. There really wasn't much of a relationship beyond sex. Some of the transition scenes gave me whiplash, and the second hand embarrassment was so cringe. There were just so many unrealistic things about this book it was almost unrelateable. The best characters in this book were Tess's best friends and they were largely ignored. There was no communication about either MC's trauma, or even how they were working though it or even how the other felt about the others trauma. I really didn't connect with this book. Spice scenes were ok.

Read one you've read them allcommunity.
I actually enjoyed this (same) story the first couple of times I read a book by this author. Except it had a (couple of) different name(s). This series is long past contrived and predictable at this point. You have the poor girl who loves to cook/bake and is desperate for a job to pay off her massive family/student loan debts. She goes to work for one of the possibly one hundred brothers in this series. He's maladjusted and socially awkward and rude but of course totally hot and a billionaire. He needs a cook/nanny to help him take care of his gazillion younger brothers, but despite being a billionaire, just can't find the right girl for for job. Enter our pretty and plucky heroine who despite baking up a storm every day and being an emotional eater only ever gains weight in her boobs and stays ridiculously hot herself. He falls in lust with our girls hot body and in love with her amazing cooking and even better parenting/nanny skills, screws up their happy relationship, grovels, all is forgiven. He pays off her debt and they live happily ever after in their weird little commune.Seriously, what is the point in writing a dozen (I'm not actually sure how many are in the series, but there's more than a few) books with the same plot? And considering there are still a couple dozen more brothers and sisters I guess we can expect a whole bunch more. I honestly can't even keep track of the ones I've already read because the heroine is essentially the same character every time. Her name might be different but her story is the same. There should be a law against such a profound lack of creativity and originality.

No, thanks!

Very funny, confusing In parts because of how crazy it all was, but I really liked it. I've read out of order, so this is my first book by alina Jacobs. Will try to work out where to start at the beginning because I've got a feeling you can fall in love with all the characters

Great story
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were described in detail and the story was easy to follow, especially considering there were quite a few characters. I can't wait to read the rest of the series
