## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the space between the steel slats?**
A: About 5". If you are concerned because there is space between the slats and it isn't solid, I use this bunkie board with a cheap foam mattress and haven't had any issues (daily use).

**Q: Can this be use with bed frame that doesn't use a box spring**
A: Yes, that is why I bought the frame.  Got rid of the box spring

**Q: Missing delivery**
A: Same at me.... bought it when $99 , missed delivery, then price when up 119. Oder it again, will  update and send a complaint  if I won’t receive it again

**Q: Can this replace cheap wooden slats on a wooden queen platform bed that already has a steel center beam installed?**
A: I am using this on a fairly inexpensive wooden queen bed frame that has a "lip" on each side board.  The Bunkie board is flat & provides good support for a soft mattress (like memory foam).  If the steel center beam you mentioned is not elevated above the rest of the mattress support area such that the Bunkie board "rocks," it should work fine.

We got a really nice (expensive) bed set with our first home, and when the spaces between the slats were way too big, we really didn't want to spend even more on an expensive boxspring.First we got a thin bamboo bunkie board. It was decent, but just not enough to hold the mattress, and you couldn't sit on the ends without sagging. Next, we tried a wooden box spring and IT WAS HORRIBLY LOUD AND CREAKY. A bit demoralized, we gave this one a shot and it's perfect!Very easy to put together. Solid and supportive, no fear about ruining out mattress. Light and easy to move around. Low profile, barely adds height to the bed. Above all: QUIET

The wooden slat supports in my current bed frame had crumbled and broke, no longer allowing my slats to fit in correctly to support my mattress. This bunkie board solved the issue completely, fit my queen size frame like a glove and now my mattress lays on top so nicely. I have never been so excited to sleep lol the sticky strips on the top and bottom are helpful to prevent the mattress from sliding off. The hardware is so beautifully packaged and the assembly is quick and simple. One person can easily complete on their own. We only had one issue with the one bolt not threading on the middle post, however with 3 screws it’s secure and very tight so it’s a minor factory flaw. Not worth complaining much about, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. However the factory flaw, we do highly recommend! Very durable and of high quality, the cost seems high for metal, but I am very impressed!

Our guestroom queen platform bed wooden support slats were falling apart. I just got a new expensive mattress for the bed and read that metal bunkie board would provide more support and keep the mattress healthier for longer. After reading the reviews on this ZINUS metal bunkie board, I ordered it. It took a couple of days longer than I expected to receive it but it was during the holiday madness. Arrived in 1 long, flat box. All the pieces were there. Instructions were clear, and it was SO quick and easy to assemble! Everything clicked into place and nothing was defective or the wrong size etc. It fit well in the queen platform bed frame. There was maybe an inch or less of space between the bunkie board and edge of the platform, but it did not slide around. The mattress fit exactly in the platform frame so it did not slide around on the bunkie board so I did not have to use the adhesive on some of the slats that were supposed to hold the mattress in place. All in all, it was a great product that was very easy for 1 person to assemble, and it did exactly what it was supposed to do for a GREAT price! I have no complaints.
