When you have the write place to hook onto it works great
This is the tool of evil, when it works and the circumstances are right it works great, but when they aren't, watch your knuckles, your arms, and any other body part that is near the spring when it lets loose

100% Needed for Couch Repair
This tool was very much needed. I bought the spring kit to fix my couch, but was unable to do it on my own due to how tight the springs are. This tool allowed me to get the springs on with no issue. It is helpful to have for the future and is made very durable. If you are ever buying a spring kit for a couch, make sure you get this too!

Useless
The only way for this tool to hold the spring is for it to occupy the hook on the end of the spring, which is the same part of the spring that must be attached to a fastener. This prevents the spring from being attached to a fastener, and that defeats the purpose of the tool! Utterly worthless tool.

Read the limitations before buying
This thing likely works under the conditions they specify for its use. Unfortunately, my only option was to put the springs in from the bottom of the sofa, and the tool doesnโt work well from that angle. In fact, it can slip and possibly injure the user. The manufacturer warns you not to do that. No, I didnโt get injured but I had to find a different way (brute force) to stretch the spring into place.

A MUST have for basic furniture repair!!
I've had 4 chairs that had "popped" 1 of 3 seat springs and I just could NOT re-seat it without one heck of a major hassle (1 chair took over an hour of trying and lots of cuts)! I ordered in this tool and repairing all the remaining 3 chairs took LESS THAN 15 MINUTES!! It took me longer to remove all the Staples to get access TO the springs!! After that, levering the springs back into place was a snap!!

Einfache Handhabung, gut verarbeitestes Material

Excellent but could do with longer handle.
It takes a bit of getting used to and requires 2 people to get a good and quick result. Need good gloves and Safety glasses just to be safe. Handle needs to be a bit longer so you can get more leveridge on it as new springs do take some strength ,but to fit a new spring would be impossible without it.

Guess it works?
Bought this to re-attatch some springs that popped off my couch. Unfortunately due to the design of my couch, I couldn't get this to work properly (I'm blaming the couch, not the product) I'm sure it would work for most couches/chairs etc though.
