My grand daughter who is 3 1/2 has always had rock hard BM's maybe every 4 days. I dreaded it for her as watching the pain she endured was heart breaking. Frequently, I'd resort to the glycerin suppository as she just couldn't get it out. I even had removed dairy and gluten with a little improvement but not normal by any means. I watched Dr. Davis' YouTube videos on l-reuteri bacterias being very helpful for digestion along with helping sleep, etc. I bought this product and she likes the taste and they are sweetened with xylitol which I don't mind as I'm not a lover of sugar in her diet. Be careful though that your dog doesn't get the pill with the xylitol (deadly for dogs). Her BM's are normal now. Not runny, not hard. I really love this stuff for her. It is supposed to help with oxytocin release and help with good moods in humans. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or she feels better now that she can "go" easily but she's been the sweetest little pleasure and I'm so thankful. Give it a week to see a big difference. Great product!

The best probiotic for my baby! When he needs antibiotics we make sure we have this so that his GI tract doesn’t take a hit from the medicine. If he’s happy, we’re happy! None of the others can compare to this one. It was recommended by our pediatric GI specialist after many other failed probiotics.

We love these. My 6 year old had stomach issues and these have been a life saver!

Since I've purchased these and given them to my 2 year old son, his eczema is nearly non-existent. He was starting to break out pretty bad, all the usual suspects (e.g., cheeks, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, backs of his legs). He was on RX eczema meds, which would reduce it but not without side effects: lightening of his skin and increased hair growth wherever the topical was applied. I also used Aquaphor in conjunction, which would minimize. Together, they helped but not enough that he still didn't itch constantly and where it was not noticeable. Probably after a week of using probiotics (I cut the topical from the side effects: He also complained that it burned his skin), his eczema was almost completely gone. After a month of everyday use, it's like it was never an issue. His skin is soft again, no rough patches. He never itches and his skin appears healthy and hydrated. We've stopped using Aquaphor as well and so it appears that the probiotics seems to be the sole reason for his recovery. Plus, my son loves taking his morning "vitamin." His older sis gets her own vitamin and this is his special treat. He likes the taste: a chewable lemony tablet that tastes like a sweet and sour candy. Definitely recommend for parents who are struggling with their children's eczema. At least, give it a go.

We have had my 4 year old on these for a few months now. I had two reasons for starting her on this product. First, to hopefully offer some protection against all the tummy bugs running rampant this winter. And second, to help with her chronic constipation that we had been treating with daily Miralax. I believe the first goal may have been met; she has not had the stomach flu since she has been taking BioGaia, even though it has gone around at daycare and I had it myself. We have been a little more vigilant about handwashing and whatnot this winter, so I can't attribute it completely to the BioGaia, but it certainly didn't hurt. As for the constipation, it seemed to help at first, but now she is back to needing to take Miralax at least every other day to keep things moving.
