Is The coax core is it copper or aluminum as of 2019

The reel I received last month has aluminum core with copper cladding. I did the scrape test first then we did a resistance ohm test. Do not buy. Nothing but trouble will come from using this. Aluminum core / copper cladding should be included in the description. Without that info, it's a scam product. Very disappointed.

Wiil the cable work for lengths longer than 500 ft for a single camera? Just straight from the dvr to the camera? Or would i need something in between

Not sure about that. We ran it about 250 feet to a 4-way splitter and it worked fine for all cameras.

Can i use cat5/e for a cctv system that has bnc and a/v terminals?
