The FreeLight IB-M4UN-U1LH Solar Powered Post Light is an affordable, high quality, reliable outdoor light for the home, garden & for outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. The product features a 0.6 Watt solar panel, a 3.7V 800 mAh Lithium battery that will fully charge in 2-8 hours. 8 Pure White LED lights produce a bright 80 Lumen main light when the light is turned on. The light comes with a Micro USB female connector to allow the option of charging directly from the mains in poor weather or where it cannot be left in direct sunlight for any reason. Note: Charging cable not supplied. The light remains off during the day (even when the switch is on) while the battery is charged by the solar panel. If the switch is on the light will come on as the internal detector notices the daylight fading. A second switch activates a sonic fly repellant system that produces an ultrasonic wave at 23-53 kHz to reduce its attraction to flys etc. Note: This can be turned off. The light is housed in a stylish and highly durable black plastic body, is heatproof and is waterproof to IP54. It has a flat bottom for so it can be easily used on a table and a retractable handle to allow it to be carried or hung up easily. There is also a short stainless steel, 2 piece ground pole assembly which allows the light to be mounted approximately 1 foot above the ground near a tent, fishing spot, or to allow lighting of a pathway or a garden border. Suggested applications include pathways, walls, garden tables, hanging from trees or for use away from the home when camping or fishing. The light is ideal for anywhere that you would like to have lit up to deter others gaining access or where you would like illuminating so you can safely see where you are going in the dark.
