World of Reading: Jake and the Never Land Pirates: X Marks the Croc: Pre-Level 1 Paperback – May 7, 2013

If you have a Jake the pirate fan in your family, this is a wonderful addition to play and story telling. It is a great way to interest reading, with the insertion of pictures within the story words.

I love the Jake books that I found on Amazon. Son loves anything Jake and this is a great story, bright colors.

The pages did not fit the iPad, a lot of the pictures were cut off and unable to be viewed. The 3 year old doesn't mind but I'm disappointed with how much the cost was for such a poor rendition of an electronic book. Great idea, poor execution.

My 5 year olds love this story. My complaint as the parent who has to read it is I hate that some of the words are replaced with pictures. I actually find it kind of hard to read this way.

Very nice book for toddlers and kids. The pages are very good, the colors are incredible and the pictures are super nice.

my three year old son likes it just because it's Jake and the neverland pirates.Only 3 stars though - the story line is goofy and it's not well written.

Loved by my grandsons'. These are early reader books which makes them great for the child ages 3-6 years old. Paper back book so not suitable to be left on floor with a little one crawling about.

Pictures in between sentences really encourages the kids to try and read some words later on

I like this book and like the idea of putting pictures in place of words (although it did take me a minute at first)! My son likes Jake & the Never Land Pirates and this is a good story. Not too long for bed time & I have read it a few times for him so he isn't bored of it yet.
