In Spinderella, players race to get their three ants across the forest floor as quickly as they can, but spiders await in the branches above and โ with a little help from opponents โ one might swoop down to scoop up your ant and return it to the starting line. You can do the same to them, of course, so search for the right time to act and the right places to hide. Review: Peter and Parker's sister, Spinderella - My kids love this game. It's easy to understand, and pretty easy to set up. There is a short path on one side of the board and a longer one on the other side, for different length games. The spiders have a tough time catching up to the ants, who have much greater mobility. However, catching an ant is super fun for the kids, as well as being able to piggyback on another ant. Sometimes the stump will trap a player's last ant, and they'll lose a turn if they roll an ant, but can't move. I guess that lets the others catch up a little. Review: He's a pretty smart guy - I play this game with my 4 year old. He's a pretty smart guy. It took him about one game to realize which dice moves the ants and which moves the spiders. He also had a little trouble at first knowing which direction to move the ants, sometimes he would move them back toward start. I wish there was a more physical or obvious or enticing way to ensure that the spiders stop on the red dots. I always have to supervise the movement. I also noticed that the tree trunk is very slippery; Often someone goes to move it and it slips out of their fingers, knocking the game pieces out of place. It's hard for a 4 year old to remember that the spiders can't move too far apart so I usually don't encourage that game rule. These are some minor gripes. It's a really neat game, and my 4 year old loves it, and I enjoy playing it with him.

Very entertaining!
The magnetic spiders and spatial awareness involved in this simple game are really well done. We've modified one die to allow less log movement and more spider movement, but otherwise really well designed game! The box lid should have been just a touch larger, or the clips for the supports wide enough to clip on both. The lid won't fit under the box while playing, and tends to get placed in dangerous paths with kids around.

Great Family Game
We really enjoyed playing this with our family which includes a 4 and a 6 year old. They both understood the game but needed a little help with how to move the spiders to a spot that would actually catch an ant. We pointed out which spiders to move and where, then they were able to catch other things players ants. This caused lots of laughs. Loved how the game uses the box and how the spiders work. The only thing I was sad about was that it would have been nice if the ants actually stuck together when they are supposed to piggyback. Overall: nice components, fun for kids and adults to play with their kids, short game play, and great use of magnets.

Fantastic kids game
I love how the box turns into a 3D game board, and kids and adults alike will have fun using the spider to catch the ants. It's a pretty simple game, but it does actually involve some decision making, since you have to choose which ant to move and how to manipulate the spider.

Great game for kids in the late single digits
It's fun enough that none of the grownups groan about playing. Everyone liked it at Thanksgiving. Niece and two nephews LOVED it. Even the ones too young to understand the game loved playing with the spiders. At <$20, it's a must have. The box, game boards, and pieces are as nice as any of our expensive grown up games, and nice than most.

Amazing game. So much fun going on with it
Amazing game. So much fun going on with it. Easy to play and the kids (8 and 4 years old) both love it. Setup is also cool as you get to use the box for gameplay. Overall great concept and a lot of fun.

Lot's of fun!
Cool game, takes a while to finish so adapt your own time limit or rules to speed up play, it is a new concept for board games and is amusing as well as having a variety of pifalls and outcomes. Only note is to find a table which will accommodate all players to see lower and upper game board for the full game experience.
