Highly Absorbent! 🧽
Very absorbent and does not stick to wounds. I have a vascular wound on my lower leg and it likes to drain a lot, especially when I have certain treatments like stem cells or skin graphs. This adds a double layer of protection that I put on along with an absorbent bandage. It works well and can absorb a lot to where it’s pretty saturated when I take it off. I’ve tried others, but this one works really well. It can hold up to almost 5 times its weight! So if you have a wound or something that has heavy to moderate heavy flow or drainage definitely purchase these you won’t be disappointed. The price is a little steep, but it is well worth it because it saves your clothes, your sheets and just about anything that you don’t want your drainage to stain or get onto.

Works great with 3m waterproof tape
I was changing dressing 6 times a day until I tried this version, without the adhesive. Was able to cut into two strips, then use water resistant 3M tape. The two together kept the medication on the wounds longer, without requiring constant changing, and no snagging when moving. Wish these came in bulk boxes

Sponge absorbs liquid, if any, and that keeps skin area where it covers dry.

Great to use for pressure sore prevention
These pads work wonderful in pressure sore prevention. My mother is unable to walk, so she is bound to either her recliner or the bed. I cut these pads in half and place them on her coccyx and she has never developed a pressure sore. I honestly believe it’s because I use these little lifesavers!! They are a great value for the product compared to other brands.

These are exactly what my doc gives me they help provide extra cushion right where I need it glad I have a place I can stock up on extra

Heel cushion
Perhaps an unconventional use, but I have been using these as extra cushion for my heel in a very hard surgical shoe. Just the extra bit of foam makes standing in the surgical shoe tolerable. It’s honestly been a huge relief.
