Westin 27-1985 Running Board Mount Kit

Now this is nothing but a board mount kit and in the end it served it purpose. The reason I have it rated low is because the threads in one of the two wired M8 nuts was malformed and since it wasn't obvious to naked eye, caused me quite a bit of headache while installing the M8 bolt to this M8 nut. I ended up calling Westin support to send me a replacement wired M8 nut to complete my install which took much longer than I had hoped. So do yourself a favor, check these wired M8 nuts before you begin installation and it will ensure smooth installation.

I used these to install the Westin 27-6610 Polished Aluminum Step Board on my 2012 Honda Pilot. The kit comes with the installation instructions w/ pictures. You might want to spend some time under your car and looking at the pictures to figure out how they need to be installed. Once you figure it out, the installation is quick and easy.

This review is for the running boards and the associated brackets. Boards arrived on time in perfect condition and were a quality product. Installation was easy with exception of rear frame bolts which could have been a quarter inch longer. Installation looks good and meets all my requirements.
