Whey Master Parent (30 Servings, Vanilla Caramel)

Oh yum! The perfect Vanilla Protein Powder! This is my first order - but I have already placed a second for the Chocolate Mousse which is yummy too! Both products are easy to mix - no clumping. Both are silky smooth, as advertised. Perfect blend of whey protein and flavoring - low fat and sweetened with Stevia. Great taste too! I will experiment with mixing with Almond or Rice Milk (plain and vanilla flavor) and changing things up a bit with cinnamon flavoring, etc. Delicious with fresh berries or banana or both, pureed in a blender. Each package has about 15 servings - averages out to $2.00 a drink - which I can live with because a serving keeps me satisfied longer and has helped to control cravings - well worth it for my diet. This is definitely the product that will take me the distance. Finally, someone who has gotten whey protein right! Thank you! I will be ordering more!

I had some shipping issues to start with, but Protein Milkshake was quick to fix them. My three stars come from the taste. The flavor is really nice to begin, if not almost too sweet, but it finishes with a strong artificial sweetener tang. While I waited to receive this I bought GNC's Lean Shake at a local store to tide me over. I ended up liking Lean Shake more than Protein Milkshake. I mixed them both w/ Almond Milk. One of the reasons I bought Vanilla Caramel was to add coffee into it, and I actually ended up preferring the shake w/o it. The coffee only seemed to add to that bitterness. I don't know if I'd purchase another flavor to try, as I'm not personally a fan of the artificial sweetener aftertaste. But what I like about this brand is their flavor options - where everyone else has the standard vanilla, strawberry & chocolate, Protein milkshake offers quite a few unique ones.Pros: flavor options, blends smoothly w/o grittiness, very sweetCons: artificial sweetener really noticeable, price/quantity

While this protein tastes ok (no better or worse than other vanilla protein I have had for less money), the smell is very unpleasant to me; I am unable to drink it if I breathe through my nose instead of my mouth. I will get through the 15 servings, but I personally won't buy it again. I don't think everyone will have this reaction. I think I may be more sensitive to the smell of whey based products than most people. So, if you like whey protein, you will like this.

I want to give this product 5 stars for the fact that it is THE BEST tasting protein powder that I have ever tried. It does have a somewhat fake sugar aftertaste when mixed with certain liquids. I have always mixed flavored protein powder into my coffee in the morning with milk for breakfast or with about a cup of cashew milk and a little water or skim milk to thin it out. I have just tried received the new chocolate flavor but have yet to try it. The only reason I will not rate it 5 stars is it does not leave me feeling as full as other protein powders and therefore have yet to get away with using it as a meal replacement as I had initially intended.

I love this product!! I have been using protein shakes as a meal replacement for breakfast and lunch for the past several months. Initially, I had the Nutrisystem shakes and smoothies which were good and dissolved easily in water, convenient to take to work. I next tried the Vega shakes and while I like that they are vegan, have 2 servings of veggies in each shake and naturally sweetened, they do not dissolve very well unless you put them in a blender. They stay gritty and the taste takes some getting used to. Not so with these! I love all the flavors and they are so good...they stay well mixed even overnight in the fridge. I put a scooperful in a small Ziploc bag and take to work...make a nice shake, satisfying. So good. I am still losing weight and have to say, I would buy these again!

This shake is pictured incorrectly, and priced at a very high premium compared to other reputed brands that are sold for ¼ the price in weight. All those who gave this product a 5 star probably either work for the company or got paid to write such. If neither of these, then I’m sorry that you did not ever try-out other brands like Nitrotech, Muscle milk, Dymatize Elite, etc. The closet best tasting shake for me so far has been Muscle Milk. I am not going to educate you on the fat content in MM. The fat is actually good for you immediately after your workout. If you are picky on your taste, and if you are a person who wouldn’t drink MM because of its fat content, then you’re not a person who'd buy a product like this on Amazon. You would buy a protein shake from a top sports supplement stores/online and one which is a well-known brand.This item (vanilla) has a horrible taste. ‘Horrible’ would actually be an improvement. Is it disgusting? No. But when you expect something as described or as pictured, you expect it to taste more like a milk shake and when that doesn’t happen, you’re disappointed and this formula then begins to taste repulsive. We drink protein shake to maintain a healthy lifestyle (each person has their own definition of healthy). I drink protein as a supplement; so what are the chances I would’ve mixed along: Rice/almond milk, whip cream, vanilla essence, powdered nutmeg, butter flavour oil, sprinkles, etc., as shown on the listing? I used every day 1% milk, and then had to force myself to finish it. If you want something that looks like the picture for a cheap price, go buy yourself a milk shake from McDonalds! Although I used reduced fat milk, I guess I too was expecting a smooth creamy taste from a mere protein shake. What was I thinking!! I could only distinguish the taste of the vanilla bean which tasted the same a Breyers French Vanilla ice-cream.Now let’s talk about the price. Compared to the brands I’ve earlier mentioned and most other, these tubs weigh approximately 4lbs each, and retail for around $50. Buying this particular shake for $30 a lb, is like paying $120 for the others. Not even the best of brands or a highly rated product charge over $100 for their 4lb tub! In my lifetime, I’ve never blended just a single protein brand. I always prefer mixing 2 different brands of the same flavour (e.g. MM and Nitrotech); I’ve also never used a single scoop, but always 2 for each serving. This particular product provides me only 7 servings for $30.00Seems like this item is a research-less cheap product, sold in very irregular economical packaging, for 4 times the price of a reputable product. Even whey isolate, which is the purest form of protein, sold by other manufacturers is way cheaper than this. NOT WORTH THE PRICE, UNFAIR ADVERTISING AND PACKAGING. Wish I could return the product I opened. This is one example how I lose faith in those 5 star reviews!
