I was fortunate enough to get a glimpse of “Uh-Oh!” said Flo when it was still in the developmental stage and was impressed by Samantha and Rachel’s commitment to producing a quality picture book which would educate as well as entertain.The published book does exactly that!Inspired by true events – the clean-up of Versona Beach in Mumbai – the book follows Flo, a sea turtle hatched on a dirty, plastic strewn beach, as she sets out on an epic adventure meeting various new friends along the way.The book has all the ingredients of a successful children’s book with colourful illustrations and a lovely story that’s interactive and educational, engaging children with a cast of super characters and a satisfying conclusion. As a parent, it’s also a book that I’ve been more than happy to read multiple times! It’s a lovely read and a superb way to get children thinking and caring about eco topics and the impact they can have on the world around them. I highly recommend it.

This book was simply stunning to read and I couldnt help admiring the illustrations which leapt out of the page from the word go. 'Uh-Oh said Flo' is much more than a picture book as it tackles some very important subjects in a way which will encourage our young ones to think about how we are effecting the planet with how we live. Sea creatures of all shapes and sizes are set against a backdrop of the deep colours of the ocean as Flo makes a challenging journey through the sea, helping others along the way. Another excellent book to educate families and encourage us all to do our thing in helping the environment. The illustrations are beautiful and the quality of the book is superb. A must read for all children with a positive way of helping us to think differently about what action we can take to support the eco-system
