Best Vacuum cups on the market. Stick with metal handle and metal plunger. Plastic handle plunger combos and metal handle with plastic plungers (A.K.A. Hybrid). have not held up for me. I use these cups daily. I still have some I bought in 2005. I keep min. of 4 on truck at all times. Just take care of your tools and they will take care of you.Please note to get long life out of these.Never get white felt piece on bottom cup wet or submerge cup in water.Never set cup down with rubber side down.Store and transport in case. Place case in area that it will not bounce around when transporting.Don't drop or throw cupBe careful with rubber ribs that circle the edge of cup. protect them from getting cut or damaged.You may loose suction if cup is put on crack in glass or if glass has stickers or seam in protective film. Area cup is needs to be clean, dry, flat and free of all foreign material (oil, dust, debris, etc.).cup works great for carrying windows, doors, glass and marble.One last item know the weight of what you are using cup for and use multiple cups if needed.

Solid product. I felt very confident once I had glass attached, it was easy to maneuver it into place.

9" Wood's Powr-Grip N5450 Metal Handle Plunger Vacuum Suction Cup LifterThis product is an example of why tool-lovers seek out Made-in-the-USA products. Superb quality. Simple operation. Rock solid performance. I had been using a cheaper pair of vacuum lifter's to remove and reinstall a very heavy (1-3/8" thick) Lexan deck "floor window", but grew increasingly worried that if a lifter let go, I'd either break my foot or ruin the expensive Lexan.Put two of these lifters on the surface, pump a half dozen times with that brass plunger -- and these suction cups feel like they are bolted on. Pump until the red plunger line retracts and you have the proper suction. A few more plunges will go beyond that (at least on something as tough as this Lexan).The included case is quite good -- designed to put zero weight on the cup’s rubber edge to protect it from damage. Given that the cup’s outer edge has a fairly fragile triple ridge to ensure a perfect seal, protecting said ridge while stored is important.Also, the suction cup is replaceable should that become necessary; parts are available directly from Wood's web site. (Thirty three dollars currently for a replacement vacuum cup.) Unscrew the six large Phillips screws and carefully twist the handle assembly's male tube off the rubber female cup end and lift off the plunger assembly.Given that 9" Powr-Grip lifters were about the same price as the slightly smaller and lower weight capacity 8" Powr-Grips, the 9" cups were the obvious choice. Ordered these cups after my old ones gave out. These are amazing handle in them is perfect and strong exactly what I was looking for.
