Gimbal is light weight, it can be extended which helps us to take selfie videos for vlogging and low level video shoots without much strain. The magnetic holder makes it easy to remove the phone from gimbal to attend calls. A must have gadget if you are a YouTuber or a vlogger.

Bought it and wanted to shoot a runing video for friend, the video quality is so shaking, not so much difference between using it or just handled by hand, also auto tracking movement is not ao fast, only good for shooting slow ad stable picture, and for this situation my hand is also capable of doing that, so not very useful to me.

This is very fun to use, and allows you to take amazing shots. The only downside is that sometimes it’s hard to connect to my iPhone, even if I reset everything (including the gimble).

This gimbal works fine, but I wanted to use it with an external mic connected, so there’s a cable connected to the phone. The gimbal is very sensitive to this cable and gets thrown off balance resulting in strong wobbling from side to side. Probably something that could be fixed with a software update, if that’s possible.

It functions as you would expect if you use it with the regular camera. Holds it steady. Buttons won't work and you can't use any of the advanced features. If you use the app designed for it (if it's compatible with your device. Luckily the 5 has better support than the 4) then you get so many different options than you know what to do with. You'll need to know how you want to use it. Personally, my stock camera is better than the app so I try to use it as much as possible but for cloning shots, time lapse, things of that nature, that's where the app comes in. Only gripe I have with this thing is battery life. It's on the low end. Also had an issue where at really low battery it would turn on but the motors no longer functioned. Keep it in mind in case you try to use it near 10% (that is where I had issues). It might decide to just nope you in the middle of the shot.

I purchased this for a once in a lifetime holiday to Canada, and don't regret a single penny. It enabled me to produce some really nice and quirky footage, which makes the final result that much more interesting.I did, and I would, recommend that you watch some videos on tips and hints. There are some really good channels on youtube, so worthwhile investing some time watching.It has an excellent build quality. light and comfortable to carry. Easy to setup.Since purchasing mine, a newer model has been released, but I don't believe there is a great difference in functionality. The clip that goes on the phone is magnetic and fits the phone snuggly. The only issue is you have to have it central to the phone so it may or may not interfere with side buttons. The magnetic clip is very powerful and unless you shake it really excessively, has never fallen off.The DJI Mimo software is very reasonable however you have to download it and install (Android) manually as it is not in the playstore. Why? I don't really know. You can use your native cameral software though, but the Mimo does add more options. My only gripe with the software is that your phone connects via bluetooth and when you put it into suspend mode, more often than not it doesn't automatically reconnect. I also had an issue which I reported to the DJI which was to do with the software not correctly identifying the GPS location, so registered a lot of my video being in Russia rather than Canada. They did eventually acknowledge the bug and hopefully by now has been resolved.
