Q: Would this be durable/strong enough for a dog that lunges at wildlife? I’m terrified of something breaking and her running off.

No my dog is similar (he like to lunge at things) well the metal part by the clip ended up snapping today. My dog is 75 lbs and very strong. A dog that weighs a lot less would do well with this leash though. I will now be buying items that are a lot thicker and durable. I can’t upload the photo at this moment.

You sound like you are in the same boat as I am. The cord should be strong enough. Its what you have it attached to that will count. Also check it once in a while in case your dog chews on the cord.
