If you want the absolutely thinnest case that exists, this is it. There's definitely good and bad to that though - the good is that, well, it's thin. It's designed to be the most minimalistic case that exists; which brings me to the bad - protection is minimal. While there is a bit of a camera bump to protect the lens, there isn't a lip for the front screen. The material makeup of the case makes it feel incredibly brittle. The brittle nature of the material combined with the very, very form fitting factor made it a bit of a challenge to get the case on - there's no stretch whatsoever. None. Nada. Given the very, very minimalistic design of the case, I'm not convinced it'll actually protect the phone from drops or bumps. Dirt and scratches, maybe. So here's my last addition to the review - there's no chance this should be priced at $39. There are far, far more protective cases out there that still have a minimalistic and thin form factor. I've been buying a load of different cases lately, but nothing has come close to the value that I've found in Smartish Cases. They make a great case called the Gripmunk that sells for under $20 and is thin, protective, and ships quickly.

Updated review (6/7/2022): It started yellowing several months ago so I'm going to have to knock off stars. I'm already having to look for a new case after a few months. Original review (11/5/2021: This is the perfect case I was looking for. I got tired of caring around a phone bulked up by a case. But I don't want my phone scratched up either. This case is the perfect case for my purposes. Granted, I did drop my phone a few times onto wood flooring from about 3 feet so the case is good for that. But really, the case worked well from preventing scratches as it joggles around in my car cupholder or for putting it down on a flat surface. It's a really nice looking case and fits perfectly.

Extremely flimsy and very low quality. Seems to potentially be some 3-D printed low quality material. Definitely not a material meant to protect a phone case and not a hardened plastic of any kind. May as well not have a case with how little this case protects it.

This is the only phone case I have ever liked… I am on my third one and will continue to purchase forever… I would not have to repurchase because they hold up so well… I just work in a messy profession and mine gets paint and glitter all over it. It feels like there is nothing on my phone and I have yet to have a phone break in this case… knock on wood. This is the best phone case I have ever used and it’s worth every penny

1) the pictures on Amazon mislead consumers by showing that Apple logo is seen when the case is on - false, it’s not sheer at all, no even a hint. 2) weak with MagSafe, you need to move your phone around to find that “connection” which is annoying at times. 3) the case is ultra slim, nice in hands, but nothing special for it to cost the double price is sold for. You can find ultra slim cases from other brands for $14-19. I’ve bought this case after watching a video on YouTube where they suggested certain items for each category: slim case, case with MagSafe, MagSafe wallets, PopGrip for MagSafe (pop-sockets, screen protectors, and etc). After checking out the Amazon listing I liked the fact that it’s a bit sheer and you can see the minimalistic logo (which was false advertisement, it’s not sheer), not it provides drop protection (I’m 5’3” and was walking with my hands hanging down when I dropped my phone, so around 2,5’. Did not suspect anything until in the evening noticed that the case broke in the corner, cracked, and when took the case off noticed that my phone has a dent in that corner.

My main complaint is the case only works barely with MagSafe and only because it’s thin. It’s not magnetic at all by itself. The case looks nice and is thin, but I need a case that works with my Apple wallet.
