TuffRider Basic Pony Saddle Pad

We ordered the pony size for my daughter's 14 hd large pony. She's riding in a 15 inch child's saddle in the attached photo. It was just big enough, but I'm sure the horse size would have been more of a blanket. I like that it's shaped for the withers and is a medium weight. We only have two months out of the year where it's cold enough to be able to use thick pads.It was much softer after I washed it the first time, though the color did fade slightly. That neon green was fluorescent, almost too bright though and so fading to a lime green wasn't really a bad thing! It's held up well and comes clean in the wash (except the billets/girth area due the the saddle).The first picture is pre-wash, no flash and silhouetted. You can see this was really day-glo green! The second shows the color after washing. Still bright but not blinding!

I was so happy with this "Pony Saddle Pad" that I bought a second one. I have two 36" miniature horses of average weight and had in mind to purchase a second pad, only if I was satisfied with the quality of the first. This pad has a nice thickness (not too heavy or too thin), is well-made and I'm very happy with the color choices. (I bought green and burgundy.) I embellished one with faux fur trim and the other with faux sheepskin trim and attached elastic "cinches" to them so I would have "Pony Express" blankets for my minis to deliver Christmas goodies to my neighbors. I'm very happy with this product!

This is very very thin, I do believe a dryer sheet is a lot thicker than this saddle pad I do not recommend this at all

Nice pad...thin, but all english pads are. Perfect size for our pony. Washes nicely!

The pad is absolutely wonderful camel of the contoured shape and the colors are fantastic! Best of all it actually fits my pony!!

As the owner of a pony, I am weary about putting a lot of heavy gear on them. When I got this pad it was well-made, the material is durable, but light, and the fit was perfect for my mini. My son rides him and this has worked perfectly. We have been using it around 4 months now and for the price you couldn't find anything else this good that was not made cheap.

It's a nice pad for the money but I was disappointed to get Ensign Blue instead of Ocean. The Ocean was going to match my daughters outfit and reins :(
