Functionality; One handle, 5 Skievers
I love these skivers, especially since you only need one handle for them all. They are sharp, and you can easily use the best one for your project. The Skiever fits into the slot on the handle which means you don't need 5 different skievern handles; just one handle fits all of them.

Very sharp right out of the box
I use it to skive down belt ends and heavy bridle leather. Once you get the adjustment right and locked down, it will do and excellent job. Blade stays sharp for quite a while. Mine still is and I used it for many months regularly.

It works
I have been using mine for 4.5 years now. It has always worked well and I’ve had no issues. I do strop it before each use like I do all my cutting tools.

I didn't like it because there is no lock to the skiver ...
I didn't like it because there is no lock to the skiver - and you have to pull hard and hold the machine at the same time. Returned.

Affordable skiver
Cleaned the cosmolene off the blade, stropped it a few times, put it back together and it works great! Works better on veg tan than chrome tan leathers. Do not attempt to use it unless you bolt it down. There are 4 mounting holes.
