The Bread Baker's Notebook

This notebook is beautiful and made a great gift for a baker who is starting to get more into baking bread and learning to track all the details that can affect the outcome of breads.

This is a lovely small book 6" wide x 7 1/2" tall, complete with a ribbon bookmark! It includes sourdough starter log pages for noting the birth date of starter, flour type, flour/water ratio, where you are keeping your starter, etc, counter, fridge, other. Feeding schedule. Pages for bread log with lots of room to write ingredient weights, resting time, additions, kneading, stretches and folds! I could write a book about this book! If you like to keep records of your kitchen creations, this is the book for you! Like I said, I wish I had this note book YEARS ago ( baking for more that 57 years!!)

I've only made crusty artisan breads a dozen times so I'm a novice but this diary looks incredibly helpful. Very excited to gift it!
