Nice alternative option to real bread!
I'm grading this review based on what I expect from this type of bread - not what I expect from bread in general or other foods. For a keto, low carb, gluten free white bread, I think it's great. It is expensive, but I also expect that. It tastes like a soft saltine, which is to say - no taste - but I expected that. It falls apart at the edges when not toasted, and while not entirely expected, I'm not surprised. Overall, it does exactly what it's supposed to - pass as an alternative in the best way possible.

Taste really good
This bread is expensive $20 dollars a bag, but when you can’t eat much of anything else this bread was worthy it for me. Packaging was excellent, the bread came in perfect condition and taste great for a gluten free bread. Soft and tasteful great for toast.

Good value for your money heart healthy
The bread has great taste. It is very low in carbs. It toasts very well. The only thing I could say that I did not like about it is that it seemed to fall apart very easily. But all in all, I think it's a great value for the money. And it has a lot of fiber in it and a lot of healthy nuts and seeds. And I would buy again

Best keto bread I could find
It is fluffy, palatable and makes good sandwiches (do not ask it to match real bread though)

Taste close to real bread but pricey
This is one of the few low‑carb breads that actually tastes close to real bread in my opinion. The texture is good — not chewy, pasty, or crumbly — and it works well for sandwiches. It even toasts nicely without falling apart. When eaten plain, it does have a slight artificial aftertaste, but it’s not a dealbreaker. My biggest issue is the cost. It’s very expensive, which makes it hard to justify as an everyday item. Overall, a solid low‑carb option, just priced too high.

Terrible bread- do not recommend
We found this bread to be dry, tasteless, and to have an unpleasant texture. We tried it on different kinds of sandwiches, such as with mayo, and my husband couldn't finish them. Even toasted with tons of butter and jelly this bread was inedible. I'm sure it had enough fiber to meet the keto requirement, but they need to work on the recipe.

Better than not having any bread
This low net carb bread is great, compared to no bread at all. It’s not as good as “real” bread, but when toasted, it completes my keto breakfast. I take the time to separate the slices before freezing and place parchment paper between them. Found out the hard way it falls apart easily coming out of the freezer. The regular price of $10+ is not reasonable, so I wait for the reduced price of $3 to $6, then buy a couple of loaves and freeze.

I Can't Believe this Exists!
Several years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at age 36. I was determined to change my diet and lifestyle to avoid being put on medication to control my blood glucose. So I transitioned to eating low carb, which meant saying goodbye to potatoes, pastas, and breads. I have tried MANY low carb bread alternatives, none of which could ever compare in taste and texture to my beloved refined (yet unhealthy) sliced breads. Until I tried THIS bread! I got this to try with fairly low expectations. I had pretty much resigned to the fact that I'd never be able to eat real bread again. But when I tried this I was honestly speechless. I thought there was NO WAY this could be low carb! It tastes just like Wonder bread. I had to re-read the ingredients just to make sure I wasn't being tricked. Ordinarily I'd run a mile from anything that lists "tapioca starch" as it's definitely not a low carb ingredient. But this uses a MODIFIED tapioca starch that is extremely low carb and packed with fiber. I have not found this bread to spike my blood sugar at all, and now I'm completely obsessed with it. Truth be told, I had previously purchased and tried a bread mix package that you bake yourself and basically makes this exact type of bread. But it was actually a lot more expensive and I also had to buy yeast. This Carbonaut bread pre-made is half the cost and infinitely more convenient. Did I mention I'm obsessed?? If ordering from Whole Foods, it'll arrive frozen. You should definitely keep this bread in the freezer until you're ready to eat it. Once opened, you can refreeze the loaf. You can also keep it in the fridge where it'll stay fresh for about 2 weeks. I personally would not store this bread at room temperature for long periods for fear of spoiling it. In sum, if you do keto or eat low carb and you're missing sliced sandwich bread, this is an excellent option. But if you don't like Wonderbread type bread, you won't like this. Nothing will ever be the same as the real thing, but this comes extremely close. Honestly if someone had made me a sandwich with this bread and I didn't know it was a low carb alternative, I would never have known. It's just so similar that I still can't get over it!
