This product is not made to last and does not fit properly. The tab to thread the cap completely wore out and will not hold cap now. One star just because you have to enter at least one. Too bad you can’t go minus a star.

While the product looks nearly identical to the original part, it would require epoxy or some sort of weld to get it to seal to the base. As is, it is very floppy. Also, the oil cap is extremely difficult to put on and pull off of the new neck. Actually, I've just opted to keep it as a funnel, but I put the cap straight on the engine. Otherwise it's a nightmare just to try to add oil, and since I've currently got a rear main seal leak, I'm adding oil frequently. Not a good product replacement.

Arrived on time looks good install was easy but do fit loose compared to the original but it did the job.

Not sure why some people have problems with this and gave abad review. Mine came with an o-ring and fit perfectly. Once installed it can only be removed by taking the valve cover off and depressing the tab. If you try to force it off without removing the valve cover it will break the tab and be wobbly, this is how the Original GM is and is designed this way to keep it from coming off when removing the oil fill cap. I think some of the poor reviews are from people removing thiers after installing it without removing the valve cover.

This oil filter tube worked well in my 5.3 LS Chevy Silverado. It fits well does not leak, what more can you ask for! I would buy this again.
