It is not a single stage crimper. I find it best to crimp the conductor first then the insulation. **Q: Will this crimp tool crimp connectors for the jst ach type connectors?** A: Having researched jst ach type connectors it is evident that the PA-09 crimp tool is suitable. **Q: Will they work with jst sm connectors?** A: With practise I think yes. I have found them excellent for the price. Very small connectors are difficult unless you pay out for crimper many hundreds of pounds. Had cheaper crimper but they all went in the bin.
