Lots to Love About this New Kindle
There is so much to love about this new Kindle. This replaced a 10-year old paperwhite.The battery life is amazing!The size is perfect and the weight is great.It is taking some time to get accustomed to the new interface. So much has changed and you just have to explore to learn how to use it. As you can imagine, having used the old one for such a long period of time, I didn't even have to think about it. I am sure this will soon become second nature.

Kindle does it better
Kindle makes the best quality reading devices and this new model did not disappoint. It is lighter and better looking than the previous model and works with a better battery.

Easier on my Eyes
I am enjoying this, easier on my eyes and lighter in weight than my previous reader, and so seldom needs charging. Nice!I do miss the ability to change colors of highlights (useful with multiple narrators and timelines) but it hasn't been a serious problem.A welcome upgrade!

For those readers who always said they had to hold a book…
Shame on me for not buying a Kindle years ago. I too said I liked holding a book & turning the pages. But I finally treated myself & ordered a Kindle Paperwhite. Super easy to select your books & download. You can adjust the font size to your liking. And the back lighting is great, u can read in bed without having a light on. And if u don’t know what a word means, hold ur finger on it & the definition comes up! Easy to balance the kindle on your lap & just touch the screen to turn the page. Close it up when ur done reading & when u come back to read, it will bring u back to exactly where u left off.

It's a great reader but can't duplicate the luxurious reading experience of my old Kindle Fire HD
The Kindle Fire HD tablet was my primary reading device for over ten years. I loved its rich, crisp, vibrant, full color display, intuitive navigation, and immediate, accurate responsiveness. This year, Amazon stopped supporting the device's software and I could no longer use it to purchase and download content. I decided to try the new Kindle Paperwhite (PW). The PW is a great reader with long battery life and a large amount of storage capacity. I love that it is readable even in bright daylight. It is lightweight and easily fits in a purse. But navigation is slow, sometimes inaccurate and unnecessarily convoluted. The bland black and white display, not as crisp or bright as the Kindle Fire HD, makes browsing books on Amazon less interesting and therefore an abbreviated experience. Should I mention the constant emails and ads to buy more books, which didn't seem to occur with such frequency on the Kindle Fire? Bottom line: If you have always used a dedicated reader, you will likely find the PW an excellent device with many positives. I hope that responsiveness and frequent hiccups are worked out in later versions.

Great Bundle

Best one I've owned yet!
This kindle has been one of the best I've had over the years. The reasoning is that the backlighting of this one is better than all the others that I have used. The other reason is that it is a flush glass which is nice to look at vs the others that had the bezel and then the contact screen, which over time catches lint and dirt. Lastly, it's USB type C, which makes it easier to just plug in somewhere. Overall, I think this is probably the best deal of all the kindle's out there right now.

I was one of those book people
So I was the person who said I would never get a kindle because there’s just something about holding a physical book. While I do still read physical books sometimes, this is a game changer for travel. Packing books is obviously hard especially for flying. I tend to read 4-5 books on vacations so that’s a lot of books and weight. Having the kindle makes it so much easier and I can download whatever I want to read when I’m ready. I will continue to purchase kindles. Also nice that it is waterproof to a certain depth. Having kiddos we’ve had many a spilled drink.
