64GB Voice Recorder, Vormooi Voice Activated Recorder with 750 Hours Recording Capacity and 50 Hours Long Battrey Time, Audio Recorder for Lecture Interview Meeting Class

Purchased in March, 2023 I have used this item several times for the same use. I work on model trains in HO scale and sometimes pull a GoPro around and record. The audio recording needed improvement so I bought this digital recorder. It works well for the purpose right out of the box and I've made maybe a dozen recordings so far.Today after an attempted recording session, it failed to function properly. When I went to retrieve the recording using my computer, it would not connect. I got no lights no matter what I did. I tried charging with a plug on the wall, then with a more powerful wall charger, nothing got a response. I tried using the earbuds and control with no effect.I opened the unit by removing the two screws then sliding the inner parts sled out. The battery was fully charged and there was no physical damage inside the unit, nor blown components. I noted there is an SD card inside the unit which has a thin bit of rubbery cement painted on. Using the back edge of a dulled exacto blade, I scraped the glue away.I had to remove the PCB screws then carefully pry the board up (there are retaining clips on the edge molded into the plastic "sled." Carefully retain the slider switch for replacement.With the board free of the sled, I ejected the SD card. The units red and blue lights immediately came on. I inserted the card again, and now the unit works as new.I carefully reassembled the thing and now it seems fine again.So if your item "just stopped working" too, open it up and eject the SD card, reinsert it, and try again.Incidentally, the recording I thought I'd made today was just a corrupted piece of file which I simply deleted.*UPDATE: I wanted to add to this review that the seller reached out to offer a refund. However I declined because the recorder is working fine for me now and I've used it a few times since the review.

Recording was of great quality. The downfall is how you have to use earpiece/headphones.

The media could not be loaded.  I had to get an external recorder for recording some meetings so that I could refer them later. Overall very happy with this product. Looks fancy and works great too. My 2 cents below:Pros:- Functionality-wise, it works great. No issues during the use. It has an inbuilt microphone that seems to be catching the voice very well - High-quality build. Very durable and won't give issues in the long run- This device looks great. Tiny, super fancy, and blends well in the backpack/pocket along with other accessories- No external drivers are needed. Just plug and play since these support OTG functionality - 64GB internal storage that can store up to 750 hours of recordings- Inbuilt rechargeable battery can provide backup of upto 40-50 hours of recording once fully charged that take around 3 hours - They do bundle a USB adapter, line controller & a data cable in the bundle - Easy to use slider button & the line controller - Comes well-packed and can be considered a giftable option too - Instructions are clear and in detail- Tiny in size and hence making it very portable - Very reasonably priced for the functionality & the quality - 1 year of manufacturer warranty is providedCons:- I wish there were higher storage capacity options provided to select from - These have micro-USB interface port. I wish it had USB-C as per the latest market standard

I've tried to like it but can't. I wish I just returned it while I was allowed.Unit is easy to use and playback on computer or phone. But the adapter included for USB C is horrible. If I move the wire ever so slightly, I lose connection to my S22+ ( with full case removed because the adapter doesn't fit) I have to unplug then plug it in again. It happens so often several times I gave up using it with my phone til I got home to my laptop. The battery life is good.The audio recording to me is bad. I've played either the settings to no improvement. I get ALOT of hissing and like static noise through the ENTIRE recording. And I've tried it in several locations. All the same result. If people are talking closely you can hear clearly. But with the static and background or slightly distant voices 8to10 feet away, become almost inaudible.Maybe the seller will consider a slightly late refund.

I hold this in my hand, and it records conversation perfectly, and audibly. It doesn't look like a recording device, so it's incognito. You could easily put this around your on a string, or chain, and record, without detection.

I never received the adapters in my box. Also I was wondering how do I go about getting new headphones because mine got lost and a manual? I have not had a chance to listen to what's on it because of those issues.

The media could not be loaded.  I picked this up because I do audio and voice recordings quite frequently and I wanted something that was small and something I could carry around easily. For the size, which by the way is extremely portable, this gives you a very nice appearance and is super lightweight. At 64 GB, you can record 750 hours so plenty of time for me, and since it looks so good, I don't mind carrying it around with me. And incredible value for the money that will get tons of use!

When it works it's good but on multiple occasions after a day of recording a very important event, relying on this device to capture it, when I plugged it into the computer to review, there was NO RECORDING saved at all!!! This just happened again today, time to start looking for a more reliable recorder, very frustrating. Are there any factors that cause it not to record or to delete?

I had difficulty with this product so I am not going to give a review on the item , but the seller was amazing to deal with that is why I am giving it a 4 star. I do recommend this seller, they a true to there word

very easy to use...background noise annoying...impossible to know what the person said or almost impossible. In certain condition,I suppose you can...used it in a restaurant...it was useless...

Had issues with my first recorder. Support was outstanding and even though I was past my (send back) deadline the vendor sent me a new one - no question. Got it today and it works perfectly. Great job. They definitely have my loyalty. Thank you.

Easy to use however I don’t like Voice activation, you missed the beginning it cuts at the end, so I prefer to use it as a live recorder
