Beautiful satin nickel hinges. They fit as exact replacements for all of the older doors in my house that have old brass-colored, paint-covered hardware. It doesn't show it in the pictures, but they come with chrome/nickel colored screws. They are very durable and don't make any noise and seem to come pre-lubricated.NOTE: Very easy to install, but if you are replacing older, paint covered ones, score/cut the outline of the old ones with a sharp knife so the paint doesn't crack. Make sure if you're replacing old hinges you have the same screw-hole pattern and they will fit perfectly. If the holes are stripped, you can use a toothpick inserted in the wood (hole in the door frame) to add more bite to the screws.

I rate this item three (3) stars but yet I just purchased more quantity of this item today. Allow me to explain. In our 80-year old house all of the hinges are the original 80-year old hinges. It is not surprising that these old hinges are starting to fail. So therefore I need to replace about twenty (20) hinges, overall, in the coming months. I would have given this item five (5) stars but I deducted two (2) stars for the following reasons. First of all the pin is not removable thereby making it difficult to properly grease the pin. Second of all, as other reviewers have stated, the screws included with these hinges are grossly too short. I don't think you should use the included screws even if you have some kind of hollow core door! So I just use my own 1-5/8" wood screws. The counter-sink still lines up just fine. If you can find these priced at under $3 for the pair, like I did, then you are getting a great deal. Enjoy!

Good value for your money, sturdy and perfect fit

We got these hinges for our doors and they look great!!!!! the problem is we have several doors in our house (15) and I needed to purchase a lot more of the hinges., but we were limited to 8 sets. We put the 8 sets on our doors and went to order more sets (9 more). but was not allowed to order more as the limit is 8. We thought that you could only order 8 sets at a time, but you can only order 8 set per customer. We don't know anyone else that can order some for us so we now we have a problem. All the other hinges there are to order are satin nickel and do not match the brushed chrome. Maybe I'll just take the 8 sets I have off my doors and send them back. I'm so sad because these are pretty.

I used this to hang a door on my garden shed. It is sturdy and holds securely.

I must respectfully disagree with the previous reviewer. These are builder-center grade brushed chrome hinges, worth about 4.5 starts, but receiving 5 because I feel that the previous reviewer was too harsh. Honestly, I'm purchasing a couple more sets because (a) I need chrome hinges for my bathroom remodel(s), (b) these are perfectly fine hinges, (c) they're sold at a decent price, and (d) it's tough to find this finish at the builder-center.Honestly, don't be put off by the previous 2-star review. These hinges are perfectly fine. Really
