I took a chance even though I saw a review that the elastic was to tight; well I ordered it and it was a little snug but then I found the adjustable elastic and was so happy I could make it looser. I was also impressed by the construction; the silk goes down to the very bottom on the elastic's edge which means your edges/hairline gets silk protection too.

This bonnet was so comfortable and I slept like a baby without my long hair in my face. I've bought a few different bonnets over the years and they've always been too tight and gave me headaches and indentations all over my forehead. This one is adjustable which I didn't realize until I got it! The material is super soft and actual silk on the inside and it's a cute design. Try it!

The bonnet is as gorgeous as the photos and I LOVE that added a scrap of the lining fabric to perform a burn test to personally verify the 100% mulberry silk. Sadly, it is not 100%. Blended silk, which is still a marked improvement from pure polyester bonnets.The burn test results where a short burn and edges curled into a hard black blob. Now I know price point under $30 will not be pure silk.

The silk bonnet is beautifully made and extremely comfortable day and night. My relaxed hair is more manageable and my curls last over a week which reduces shampooing and any additional heat from blow drying and curling and flat irons. When I take my silk bonnet off in the morning my hair is almost perfectly styled for the day. Definitely worth the money.

Bonnet is roomie and adjustable. It’s double layered so not ideal if you’re hot natured, but breathable for it to be two sided.
