Knipex 95 05 155 SB Electrician's Shears 6,1"

Top quality- just what i would expect from Knipex. I needed some small scissor/shears for my finish carpentry rig and these work perfectly for me. One example: They are perfect for trimming weather stripping on exterior doors. The sheath/holster has a nice sturdy clip that rotates and has nice tool retention that keeps the shears from falling out. The blades are very sharp and cut most materials well. They ARE NOT made to cut steel wire or any metals harder than copper. I made the mistake of trimming my steel guitar strings with them when I didn’t have my wire cutters handy… Mine now have some minor damage to the blades due to the blades being softer than the guitar string I was cutting. My mistake!

Super happy with all of their tools. They make some of the best cutters and pliers. They a very durable and effective. The cutters are super sharp and effective. This particular pair of shears is able to cut through a variety of materials in the garage and the size is very beneficial for getting into tight places.

I don't use these every day but I carry it with me every day because it is useful when I need it!

Seriously great set of snips, I absolutely love these things. They're a bit bulky but it's nice to have the extra leverage when cutting thick cables, the holster works great and makes up for the clunky-ness, and the thick handles can double as a small hammer in a fix (great for hammering on pip bushings etc). They're very ergonomic and have a tab outside of the finger holes that allows you to cut quickly without having to fully put your finger/thumb inside the snips. These have the strongest metal out of any snips I have owned so far, but they will ding slightly if you cut things that are not meant to be cut with a sharp edge tools (thick solid core copper I.E coax etc) Knipex makes great things, and these snips will quickly make it on the list of your favorite tools.

Best in the market but the holder sucks!! If it was a pass through it would be better cause the way it comes it falls off your belt when you are in a tight spot and try to yank it

Nice and sharp, clean cuts on everything from smaller to larger. Comfortable. Maybe a little bulky, but not bad.

Very useful for both fine snipping and cutting and stripping thicker cables up to 35mm2 (50mm2 at a pinch). It has been invaluable in installing my new 12v house battery bank on my boat. Wish I'd gone 24v but you live and learn. If I had gone 24v these scissors would have probably covered my cable cutting needs.

Purchased it to help my electrician to quickly carry out some repairs in my villa. First of all, I would like to say that the product is terribly overpriced. It’s no more than a pair of scissors. Don’t understand why it should be priced thus! The sheath provided is of miserable quality. Expected it to be at least as good as shown in the picture. For that price it should have been packaged in a decent plastic box. It’s possible that Knipex could be pushing such poor quality stuff only to India. Indian products of same utility come with better quality accessories. The scissors-like contraption snips well though and is quite handy. It’s longevity is still to be tested.
