Its functional and quite easy to use. Used it in one flat, white wall as a trial run and it worked great. Did need a second coat, but its not hard to do it so its fine. It its super loud though. Sounds like a airplane turbine, specially in a small enclosed room and it does get quite annoying after a while. But, other than that its great for the money spent.

So after my second trip to the ER for the same kidney stone, they gave me a couple paper cone filters. For those that don't know, you are supposed to strain your urine, depending on the kidney stone size, so that a urologist can analyze it. The filters were great because they're disposable but by the time I ran out, I hadn't passed the stone yet... so these "paint filters" showed up in my search for "kidney stone filter", and to my shock, they are almost identical to the filters they gave me at the hospital, except I think these are even finer mesh, and the mesh is blue. Actually the fact the mesh is blue is actually even more helpful for straining urine and makes looking for the stone even easier. So yea, I know these are paint strainers, but if you ended up here looking for kidney stone strainers too... just know these things are where it's at, and a fraction of what the hospital charged me for the ones they provided, but that's to be expected. I actually think these are even higher quality in the paper as well, as I can use it a couple times for the day before throwing it out, and holds up to washing under water after a few uses. I know this is going to sound kind of gross to those of you who don't suffer from kidney stones, but it's a fact of life and this product helps out really well.

I got a paint sprayer to do the ten million projects I have going on in my house. I got these filters to keep the work flowing smoothly. I think they work. I don't really have chunks of anything in my pain, but I suppose if it's a can that has been open before, you might end up with bits to strain. Each filter is one time use, but there's 50 of them, so lots of uses. I'll keep them on hand for just in case.
