Toysmith Balancing Eagle Toy, Magic Trick Toy for Kids Ages 5+, 7 Inch Bird

I bought this because I have seen things like this before and they are always a fun party trick. Both my 1 year and 6 year old like it. I even showed to my elderly mother and she was even stunned at the effect from the toy. Pros 1. Fun 2. Balanced very well, my 1 year old can balance it, and it comes with a stand. 3. Realistic looking for what is is. 4. Excellent price 5. Educational Cons 1. Made of plastic, what you should expect for the price. I prefer things made of metal. 2. Somewhat not scaled properly. Wings are a bit big for the body size of the bird. Not too noticeable unless your anal like me. Overall I would still give this a 5 star for what you get for the price. I will buy more so each of my kids can have one.

Brought it to a friend's kids, one around 6 years old with a 2 year old sister. Both were impressed with it on the stand and how well it balanced and didn't fall when they moved it, and boy when I showed them it would balance on your finger or nose they were loving it. It's a cheap plastic item, details are fine and it handled being dropped a few times so far with no problems. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and is fine for what it is. I would recommend this as a neat little curiosity.

Our grandchildren like to amaze visitors with this balancing bird. They carry it around slightly spinning and balanced , on a finger (or on a nose). About six months ago, our four year old granddaughter dropped it on the tile floor and 1/8 inch of the tip of the beak broke off, but it still works just fine. I wouldn't have noticed it if she didn't tell me. It has some weight to it, so I wouldn't recommend it for a toddler in case they drop it on a foot or hit someone with it.

Bought this for my 2 year old son who is currently OBSESSED with eagles. To be honest, it maintains his interest for about 3 minutes, and it's a bummer that he's too little to understand how and why it is able to do what it does. But I'm still going to rate it 5 stars overall because of the joyful shriek of "EE-GAW!!" it evokes every single morning when I balance it on my nose as he eats breakfast. My low Durability rating is due to the fact it slipped off my nose onto our hardwood floor, which left a pretty hefty hairline crack in one of the wings. Might just be bad luck on my part, but I would recommend playing with it in a carpeted area.

Balancing Eagle Toy Desktop Toy Wanted something fun for my work desk and thought this would be great. This is a great toy example of teaching balancing points. These are always fun to play with and look cool on any shelf or bookcase. For the price, I was expecting this Balancing eagle to be super cheap but it's pretty solid. Pros The price The texture used on the feathers is very deep and pronounced, The beak is soft smooth and rounded so it fits comfortably on your finger. The paint looks fairly realistic compared to other neon colored balancing toys on the market Cons The base is made from basic, lightweight plastic. The base is not solid, it is hollow and can tip easily, top heavy with the eagle balancing Drop this item a few times and it will break at the wings or the beak. If dropped on the correct angle the weight glued inside can come loose and slide around The weight inside the one I received is slightly off side which makes the bird rest on a slight angle The paint over time wears off the balancing contact point

OK. I admit it. It doesn't take much to make me smile. I love this balancing eagle that I got for my grandson. (I loved it so much I got one for me, too) It really does balance and it fascinates the little folks. I like to put it on the top corner of my book case, but it does come with a little stand so you could put it on your desk. This one is nicely painted. Even the bottom is painted. I have had it for months and no signs of wear. It seems durable and ...well balanced!

When I first saw this on amazon, I thought that it looked interesting. But from the tiny photo, it was hard to judge what it really looked like. I took the chance that it might be a flimsy poorly painted import. I got it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It is absolutely top notch. The detail in the feathers is excellent, it's hard for me to look at this as a toy. The painting on it is superb, especially at the transition from the white head to the brown body. It is perfect. The plastic is not that hard brittle kind that you know will shatter if it hits the floor. It feels quite durable. It far exceeded my expectations, I will order more as gifts. The only negative is not with the eagle, but with the packaging. It is really cheesy looking. So any I get for gifts I'll remove the packaging, and put it in a nice box with tissue paper. It will make this 5 dollar "toy" look like a 25 dollar desk ornament! I've seen all the disappointed reviews for the colored birds, where you don't have a choice as to the color you'll get. Don't bother. Buy this one, you will not be disappointed. I hope someone finds my review helpful in making a buying decision.

Nostalgia loving boyfriend bought this and enjoys it as a fidget spinner more or less. It definitely works as expected and it’s cute ! We looked all over the toy stores for this and couldn’t find it anywhere, so happy to have found it ! It also came way sooner than estimated which was nice.
