Leader Buddy 16T Sea Green/Light Pink Colour Cycle for Kids/Age Group 5-8 Years

After seeing several positive reviews, bought this cycle for my little daughter. Best cycle at this price range. Easy to assemble, doesn't need an expert to assemble. Frame is sturdy, hope it will be durable. Color and design same as advertised. The only issues were package was damaged due to bad handling by courier partners, hence could find some scratches on the body. Then, a small scew or hook for the front mud gurd was missing. Hence, I could not fix it properly. A slight alignment problem on the back wheel probably due to angular issue with the frame or the rear wheel bearing. Need to check with a cycle repair man for this. Apart for these, all good with this cute cycle. My daughter loves it so much.

Product is sturdy and in good quality than I expected. VFM product, should encourage such quality builds made in India with affordable price range. But reason I don't give 5 is because of their assembly instructions. Their youtube link is awful, shows channel removed. And instruction booklet is made with some assumptions as if the assembler had experience fitting 100s of cycles. The picture itself should be explanatory for the assembly, hope Leader can improve on this.

This cycle is complete waste of money. Don't buy this sub-standard product. One of the my worst purchases of 2025. Pathetic.

Summary: - I am happy with the purchase. Kid is happy with the bicycle. - Seller has included a checklist of all the spare parts. So, no fear of missing spares in the package. - Product is as described. Pros: - Product packaging is awesome. No moving parts as all the spares have been tied appropriately. - Found the checklist of included spare parts when opened the package (refer to the attached images). That just boosted my confidence :) - Colour combination is awesome (subjective). - Product is as described. Just works as expected. No complaints. Assembly: - Assembly is easy, DIY if you have some toolset. - Multi-spanner shared in the packaging cannot be used for all the nuts/bolts to be fixed. So, if you don't have a toolset, get it assembled at a local shop. - Tyres are deflated by default for some reason. It has the narrower Dunlop valve (also called English valve or Woods valve - compatible with Presta type valves) for air intake. Ensure your air pump supports this valve type. Not sure why the tyres are sent in deflated condition. Initial Dilemma: I was not sure if buying bicycle online is good as I had doubts about the size incompatibilities. However, clear details about the size and height of the child in the description and the good video on the assembly of the bicycle in vendor's website helped me to get the confidence to place the order. Now I am happy that the product met my expectations.

Cycle quality is good for the price. Packaging : very good Manufactured : Recently The frame and pre assembled parts are good. But the handle had rusting and basket holder clamp was mis aligned. Handle headset was hard towards right side and I fixed it with some wd40, which means the bearing was quite old. Self assembled but took 30 mins of time.

The main reason why Income to Amazon is - Customers will be spoilled with choices. Most of the brick and mortar shops stock only selected models or brands where they get huge margins. I was looking for good quality, value for money bicycles for my daughter. After doing some research I ordered leader Buddy bicycle. This cycle delivered within the deadlines in good condition. Manufacturer claims that anyone can assemble this cycle themselves with a small tool included in the package. However I do not recommend it. Unless you are a mechanic you can NOT assemble it yourself. The manual gave bare minimum information. I tried to the bicycle after watching YouTube videos but did not succeed. Few minor parts required for assembling supporting wheels were missing. I would highly recommend this package directly to a cycle shop before opening it. It's very difficult to assemble it and align the breaks and wheels properly. If you go to any major brand bicycle shop which sells branded and adult bicycles, they will charge you atleast 500 bucks plus they will makenyoubwait for days. I would recommend you to take this bicycle to cycle repair shop or small kids bicycle shops. They will charge around 200 bucks immediately. Overall it's a good cycle compared other options I found online as well offline stores.

The bike came in proper packaging with all necessary protection. Inside there were checklists about QA. However the wrench supplied initially wasn't enough to assemble it, I reached out to the customer support number mentioned in the pamphlet and one Mr. Gagandeep, requested to share a video and the invoice across. He then promptly worked on it and couriered the missing accessories and I was able to assemble the product. Thank you again Mr. Gagandeep for your prompt response. The bike is quite good and heavy. My kid loved it. I will recommend this kids cycle.
