OMG this was an amazing, highly emotional romantic suspense. One of the best serial killer books I have read with amazing chemistry between the main characters and a hero to die for or kill for. I loved Kyle, he was such a contradiction, devoted and sweet, driven and edged in darkness. The one constant his need to protect those he loved. Desperate for closure he along with his FBI partner hunt for a serial killer, a killer that took his baby sister from him many years ago. When the killer becomes ever more erratic and the deaths start mounting up he must face the very real possibility that finding the truth could cost him everything including his life. I listened to this really tense thriller and enjoyed both the writing and audio narration. Thoroughly recommended to all lovers of good books.

I don't often read thrillers but this one caught my eye as it also had a passionate relationship going on in the background between the two main characters Cadence (a name I loved) and Kyle who were both working for the FBI. It had a lot of action going on with them trying to find the killer of several women in a small town, one of them being the sister of Kyle so that made it much more personal. I loved the 'danger' element in this story and how it was very hard to guess who the killer was. I made quite a few assumptions at the beginning but was proved totally wrong so I now know I would never make a good detective! The climax was brilliantly written and kept you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I will definitely be reading some more books from this author.

This is the first book I have read of this author .I thought it was brilliant gripping with a nice touch o f horror as well as tenderness between the main characters , I didn't dislike anything in the book or The is well written not to dark but it is not soft and sappy either .This is a good read for crime fans who don't want to much blood and Gore even though it is quite violent it is written in to much detail so you get what is going on without to much in your face detailSTracey Hemming

This is a fantastic end to the series. And it's a story I love and have read multiple times. As it always keeps me guessing and is packed full of twists and turns. Not to mention, edge of your seat suspense and two fantastic kick ass lead characters. And if you love your suspense, dark, twisted and full of red herrings, then you really need to check this book out

I chose 5stars for this book but I would have given it more if I could. I just could not set it down. It was absorbing, terrifying, thrilling and kept up the suspense right to the end. A gripping story of serial murder and control with just the right amount of sexual tension and love. A book well worth reading it will hold the reader in thrall to the very end.
