My German shepherd puppy (6 months old) is a bit of a handful at times and he, like many dogs, does not like his collar grabbed to maneuver him. The handle on this collar eliminates that problem for me. The handle is less firm than I thought and gives quite bit when used. It’s not a big deal and doesn’t make a bit of difference when using it. The collar itself is Velcro adjusted which makes size for a growing young dog easy. The clasp is unique and quite easy to open and close and I appreciate that it’s metal with less fear of breaking if given a really hard tug. It’s easier to close than the plastic ones many collars feature. My GSD has longer hair and this clasp doesn’t allow hair to be caught when closing it, which was an issue with the plastic fasteners. I like the 2 patches provided and they are easy to change out without taking the collar off because they attach with Velcro. Great collar.

this dog collar is heavy duty!! the material and clasp feel like they will last a long time. the only gripe i have is that the collar is thick. defiantly for larger dogs, but it still looks a little ridiculous on my poodle, but i’ll take the practicality over looks any day. i highly recommend.

I've had this Collar for years. It's been through a rambunctious puppy to a wild and wolly 6 year old. He's a puller on walks and on his trolly cable. He's used it like a good mailman, through wind,rain, sleet and snow. Every day, only a handful off. If you need a good heavy duty Collar this one's got excellent stitching that has held through everything a wild country dog could put it through! Worth every penny! Thinking we might get the camo just to switch it up a bit!

So happy with this collar, my dog had a knack of freeing herself from other collars I have tried. I feel very confident walking her on this collar. Hand made excellent quality.
